It has centella, shea butter, cocoa extract, which are some great hydrating ingredients. It's got ceramides and macadamia nut oil as well. Sometimes if you're going to use retinoids, this one's great for the sandwich method of retinoids to use a thick moisturizer, then use your retinoid and then another thick moisturizer to kind of seal it in and help prevent against dryness, flakiness, and all that good stuff."

It uses fermented ingredients to boost the barrier function of the skin, the microbiome of the skin, great for overall skin health, and it's a really nice moisturizer in its own right. I love this. It's one of those I have on hand when my skin's feeling like it needs a little extra TLC. Look at that, really nice packaging. It's just a really, really nice product. It's not featured on the top 10 best sellers recently to my knowledge, but I'm glad, and I think that fermented skincare trend is a really good one to get involved with if you want to improve overall barrier function."

"On the first page I'm actually seeing this from Skin1004, this is a Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Enrich Cream. I heard about this when it first launched at Cosmoprof, this was back in June or July, I was in Las Vegas and it was like 100 degrees, but I haven't had a chance to try it. This looks amazing because it has probiotics and it is a moisturizer, it has ceramides, it has phytosterols which are basically these plant steroids, this has fatty acids, macadamia seed oil, and fermented centella. Now this isn't just regular centella, it's fermented centella."
