"Skin1004 claimed their product was 100% centella asiatica extract which now everyone says it's actually 5%. They put a number on it and that number was so misleading and vastly different to what was actually in here, 3 to 5%. This does definitely seem a little bit deceptive. I do think they knew what they were doing and they could have been a lot more transparent. I've used this for the longest time and loved it because I thought I was getting a super high dose of centella asiatica, turns out I wasn't. My skin loves centella asiatica even in lower concentrations such as 2, 3, or 5% and it still gives a great benefit: calming, soothing, restoring the barrier function of the skin. It doesn't need to be 100% to be effective, but I know that this will have left a bit of a bad taste in a lot of consumers' mouths, feeling that maybe we've just been a little bit misled."

Plus there's some evidence behind it that helps with stretch marks and even wound healing. I like to put it over scars. So if you have post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, you have irritation after a rash, after acne, you can go ahead and use Centella-containing products over the skin. It has a creamier milkier slippery texture and I'm a big fan of that slip and slide and glide. I love the slippery slimies, the ferments, all that juicy juicy juicy goodness."

Their toner is just as good. What I will say is they are misleading about their ingredient list. They say that this is 100% Centella Asiatica, but it actually has some other ingredients in. I believe there's also glycerin in here and a few other preservatives, things that keep the product, things that make it a skincare product, which isn't a big deal. But to say 100% Centella Asiatica is a little bit misleading. But the products are very, very, very good. I believe all the claims. I've seen great before and afters. "This is a really nice one to use day in, day out, twice a day. And it's always very reasonably priced. Your average serum is about 30ML for like the same price, but this is 55ML. So I always feel like with this brand in particular, you get a real bargain. If you're looking for something for very easily sensitive skin, irritated skin, just want to help heal and refresh and kind of tone down any kind of redness, this is a really nice, simple one to go for."

"An ampoule is a serum that has a very high concentration of an active ingredient, and in this case it's the centella asiatica extract. It's a really nice, almost hydrating feel to it. I like centella asiatica when my skin feels a little bit irritated like it has been lately, it's just super soothing to the skin almost immediately and it's also very hydrating. It's a really light serum that you just put onto your skin. It's very hydrating, it absorbs almost immediately, and it's just really nice and calming. It feels really light on the skin."
