    What the gurus are saying

Hypochlorous acid spray earns consistent praise from dermatologists for addressing multiple bacteria-related skin concerns: sweat-related acne, body odor, eczema flares from staph colonization, and other uses like foot odor and lid hygiene. Those who've tested it report using multiple bottles a season and appreciate its cost-effectiveness and safety, it doesn't require rinsing and essentially converts to salt water on the skin.

    Skincare I Used Up 🗑 EMPTIES 2023
"This is one that is a must for me. I go through bottles of this pretty much every season. This is the Skin Smart Antimicrobial Spray. What this is is a hypochlorous acid spray and that can help cut down on the bacteria on the skin surface that would break down sweat and cause body odor. It can also be helpful for cutting down on flares of acne related to getting sweaty and the sweat irritating the skin. It also can be helpful for people who have atopic dermatitis. They're frequently colonized by staph bacteria that flares the atopic dermatitis, and this can help cut down on that. So I love using this if I get sweaty and I'm out somewhere and I can't immediately remove the sweat. You can't always be taking a shower, so this is really helpful."

"This is hypochlorous spray and it's antimicrobial so it can help cut down on bacteria that lead to breakouts and skin irritation. It can help control body odor by reducing bacteria that break down sweat. It's good if you get styes, you can soak a gauze pad and do a compress on your eyes. It's great to use on sweaty feet if you have foot odor, it's safe to use on children and even on pets. It's a very versatile ingredient and I end up going through a couple of bottles a season. It's safe to leave on the skin and you don't have to rinse it off. It's very good if you have eczema because you're prone to colonization by staph bacteria that can worsen eczema, and this helps cut down on that."
    EMPTIES 😍 / SKIN CARE I USED UP @DrDrayzday
"I finished not one but two Hypochlorous Sprays, Skin Smart. I love spritzing this all over my face, armpits, body when I'm running on the treadmill because it gets hot in there and sweaty. Hypochlorous helps cut down on the bacteria on the skin that break down sweat and lead to body odor, and it can help reduce acne breakouts. It's really good if you have eczema. I go through a couple of bottles a season."
The BEST BODY SKIN CARE PRODUCTS OF 2021 @DrDrayzday
"This is a product I use a lot this year. It's a Skin Smart anti-microbial spray. I keep a small bottle of this on my treadmill. It's hypochlorous which is naturally present in our immune system and helps kill off offending pathogens and bacteria. You can spray it on your skin to help reduce the burden of bacteria on the skin that break down sweat and lead to body odor, and also those types of bacteria that can aggravate acne and eczema. You can spray this on your feet if you have foot odor and it's amazing. It helps cool you down and helps control body odor. The nice thing about hypochlorous is that it's not irritating. It pretty much just converts to saline, so it's like salt water more or less. You can put this on cuts or scrapes. It's really versatile and effective for a variety of minor skin irritations and skin issues."
ALL THE EMPTIES! SKIN CARE & HAIR PRODUCTS I FINISHED | Dr Dray
"I keep one of these parked on my treadmill and while I'm working out, running, and doing my cool-down walk, I grab it and spray intermittently, mostly because it helps cool me off. The active ingredient is hypochlorous acid, which can help cut down on the burden of bacteria that break down sweat and lead to acne breakouts. It's really good if you suffer from eczema breakouts because it can help reduce the burden of that staph bacteria that notoriously triggers eczema. I highly recommend it. It's also good for cutting down on body odor, it's safe to leave on the skin without rinsing off, and it's great to carry with you on the go for when you get sweaty. I spray it on my armpits as a good way to clean the skin without leaving behind something irritating. It's safe to use around the eyelids as well for lid hygiene. This past summer I really leaned into using this a lot."
