"My favorite exfoliant of the year has to be the Skin Rocks Gentle Acid. This is an exfoliating toner formulated to deliver all the benefits of exfoliation without the irritation, containing AHAs and PHAs and skin conditioning ingredients. I have struggled with exfoliating toners this year, but this exfoliant has just been so nice to use, non-irritating whatsoever. I can happily use this twice a week, which just shows to me how gentle this really is. When it comes to AHAs, we have [mandelic] acid in here to help target hyperpigmentation to give you that really glowing, more even skin that you get from AHAs. Lactic acid in here to help smooth the skin and minimize the appearance of fine lines as well as hydrating the skin. Gluconolactone as well, which is a PHA to really gently exfoliate, but PHAs are also great for hydrating the skin too. Then we have fruit extracts like mango, which is naturally rich in AHAs, and then they paired that with things like panthenol and glycerin to hydrate and soothe the skin."
