What the gurus are saying

These pads deliver serious hydration thanks to their generous saturation, which makes them feel less friction-heavy when wiping across skin and leave noticeably more moisture behind. The carrot seed oil and carotene offer antioxidant support. However, experts split on whether they're truly exceptional: one creator loves the payoff for post-shower hydration, while another finds them solid but no better than a good moisturizing toner pad already in your routine. If you have sensitive skin, wipe and pat rather than leaving them on for extended time.

"The Skin Food carrot pads look like a waffle, the pads are thick, super wet and large, so you'd better separate them before use. I ended up using Skin Food a lot more than the other one and I like it much better because there's a lot more liquid, so whenever I wipe it out it feels the least friction. But some people react to this too, so if you have sensitive skin don't leave it on for like 15 minutes, just wipe it, pat it in, and dry your hair. My first pick for after the shower is going to be the Skin Food pad, I pat it on before I dry my hair and my skin becomes way more hydrated."

"I've gone for the Skin Food Carrot Carotene Calming Water Pad. There are 60 pads in here. And these are really, really popular. Style Koreans told me that 2.3 million have been sold in Korea. And these are just going to be good for, like, helping moisturize the skin. Carrot Seed Oil and Carotene, which is a nice antioxidant. What I love about these ones is you can use them like normal masking, but you can also kind of cut them into different shapes. So one pad can do several parts of your skin. So 60 pads, but that doesn't mean 60 uses. You can double it to 120 if you want to. But yeah, hydrating, soothing, moisturizing."

"I enjoy tone pads to calm my skin, especially in summer. I love putting them on my skin and sitting in front of a fan and cooling down my face. And these are nice. These are very, very nice. They're going to moisturize your skin more so than any other moisturizing pad. I don't think so. Not in my experience. They're good. Buy them. You're going to like it. But if you've already got your favorite moisturizing toner pads, you're probably going to like them just as much. These are fine. They'll suffice. I have some. But I don't understand why they are award winners. I find that I get better, if not deeper hydration from just layering up a toner a couple of times. But if you had the time to sit and lounge around with these on your face, great. Would I rush out and buy them because they're an award winner? No. If they're on sale, definitely get them. For those days when I needed a little bit of moisture, maybe. They're fine. They're good. They're nothing special. I don't think they're worth the award-winning title in comparison to newer toner pads. But there are newer and better, if not just as good ones."
