"My favorite vitamin C is the Skin Better Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum. I've gone through like three bottles already. What I love about this is it's THD base tetrahexodescorbate, so it's a very stable lipid soluble form of vitamin C. Vitamin C is super hard to stabilize, that's why a lot of products kind of change colors or get funky after a certain amount of time, but this one's very stable and it comes in this airless pump so you don't have to expose the whole bottle of product every time you want to use it. It comes out like this really soft hydrating light serum which I really love, and it also has an Ose QQ, which is this new blend of antioxidants that really levels this product up. So beyond just vitamin C, it has all these other benefits. This really is my favorite vitamin C Holy Grail and I use it every single day."

"The Skin Better Alto Advanced Defense and Repair Serum is an antioxidant serum that incorporates some serious powerhouse antioxidant ingredients, and really is sort of like the next level in my opinion of skincare technology. At the time of filming this video, Skin Better is really only available through a doctor's office, so part of what you're paying for is that exclusivity in some ways, but I really do think this is an incredible antioxidant serum. It does have vitamin C, similar to SkinCeuticals cephrulic, but instead of having L-ascorbic acid, it has something called tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which is a different form of vitamin C that tends to be a little bit more stable but also is less irritating to the skin. The difference is the Skin Better version has so many other amazing antioxidants included in it, and so you're getting like an antioxidant smoothie. It's so impressive, and I found that people who can't tolerate the SkinCeuticals cephrulic because the L-ascorbic acid may be too irritating for them or it breaks them out do really well with the Skin Better Alto."
