What the gurus are saying

This foundation's standout strength is an unmistakable glow that persists for hours, with one expert calling it the most radiant among eight competitors tested. However, gurus split sharply on who it suits: one found it too dewy and pore-emphasizing for oily skin or crowded settings and too sticky for summer heat, while another praised it as a skin-enhancing finisher that works for all skin types, stays put through heat and transfer, and keeps skin hydrated all day. The difference may hinge on how much glow and dewiness appeals to you.

"But it's definitely never ever for oily skin, never ever for anyone with a lot of visible pores, because the pores just show right through. If you're going somewhere crowded like the subway I don't think it works. I used to say this was my favorite but I can only use it for a really short moment now, if I'm going outside or with my baby I don't think so, it's too much glow and it gets sticky all over. I don't think it works for summer in Korea, but I will still use it sometimes."

"This is what she considers the ultimate skin finisher, and it's really kind of magical. She doesn't even consider it a foundation because it doesn't really cover anything up, it just gives skin the most beautiful and natural finish, enhancing vibrancy and bringing out a healthy glow. It's also good skin care, it improves skin as you use it and keeps skin hydrated for 24 hours. It's transfer resistant, heat resistant and fade resistant, good for all skin types, and fragrance free."
