"This Shawnee Darden cleanser is actually a cleansing serum and it's really good. It has water, surfactants, polyethylene glycol, macadamia glycerides, capryl glucoside, and glycerin—all non-stripping ingredients. It's not a very stripping or exfoliating cleanser the way others might be. It has some oat, olive, and chicory leaf extract. Overall it's got some great ingredients, it's vegan and cruelty free, and it seems to work well with her skin. As long as she's following up with sunscreen, this morning exfoliation does not look half bad. I would just say do it two to three times a week and not every day."

"The Shawnee Darden cleanser is a very gentle cleanser that I like. I've tried it a few times and it did not over-strip my skin, though it does have hyaluronic acid in it. That said, I'm concerned about using it twice a day with a silicone scrubby tool, which could lead to over-stripping the skin over time."
