What the gurus are saying

The scent is the standout here, with reviewers praising the sandalwood and vetiver fragrance for lasting all day and even scenting clothes beautifully. The deodorant actually works at controlling odor, though at twenty dollars it costs more than most deodorants. That higher price is balanced by how long each stick lasts, so it may work out for anyone who values a genuinely good-smelling deodorant over antiperspirant sweat control.

"I love these scents in general. I find that when I use these deodorants, even though they're not technically antiperspirant, I do [...] find that I'm not stinky by the end of the day. I can still smell the Santel and Biver, for example. [...] The one from Salt and Stone does have tapioca starch and magnesium hydroxide and some other ingredients that probably do more than just mask odor."

"I love the scents, I do love Salt and Stone, specifically their sandalwood and vetiver scent. [...] The deodorant is currently 20 dollars, expensive for deodorant. It does last a long time. It is not an antiperspirant, but it smells so good and it will make your clothes smell good, and you'll be able to smell it throughout the day, which is phenomenal."

"Not only do these smell amazing, there are several scents to pick from, but they work. They keep you dry for the entire day and they keep you fresh for the entire day. And the scent of this one is fabulous. This is the sandalwood and vetiver. There's other ones that I really like too, but this is my go-to. I just love the spiciness of it. It really is like a unisex smell."
