What the gurus are saying

This milky formula strikes a balance between light absorption and lasting moisture, drying down to a radiant finish without oiliness or greasiness. Gurus praise it as a hydrating primer alternative that works beautifully as a liquid moisturizer, sitting in the sweet spot between thin, quick-absorbing toners and heavier creams. Its versatility and ability to prep skin for a natural, glowing makeup look make it a strong choice for anyone prioritizing skincare over traditional primers.

"I'm going to be using the Rodan + Fields Glazing Milk. This is something that has been in my routine literally since it launched. It's amazing. For a really good no makeup makeup look you kind of have to focus a little bit more on your skin care. It doesn't mean it has to be complex but just using something or a couple of products right before your makeup to help prime. If I could choose between a primer or good skin care underneath makeup when I'm in a pinch, I'm always going to reach for skin care. I just think it has the most natural effect and it makes your makeup look the best. The Rodan + Fields Glazing Milk is pretty hydrating."

"I love a milky toner, a milky formula, a bi-face formula, an emulsion. This to me sits between Paula's Choice comp collection milky toner, which is very thin and absorbs fully, and the Laneige cream skin or the original formula that was quite heavy and always left this greasiness on the skin. It's what Goldilocks would have picked. This comes out quite densely milky and it feels hydrating and moisturizing when you apply it on the skin as well as very comforting, but then it kind of absorbs and dries down to a finish that does not leave any oiliness, but your skin feels moisturized and it does leave a nice radiance without the oiliness or greasiness. This is very versatile, but the way I use it and I feel this works best is as a liquid moisturizer. This has all the moisturizing ingredients but it's also hydrating as well."
