"I really recommend an eye cream that contains a retinol that helps to target fine lines and dark circles. Number one from RoC is the Retinol Correction Eye Cream, which contains really nicely formulated retinol. RoC is a very well respected brand with great formulation in the retinol space, and it's a really nice one to target crow's feet, dark circles, basically age-related changes around the eyes. It's also a very lightweight cream lotion that isn't going to cause heaviness or clog the skin. The benefit of using retinol in an eye cream is that it may help add in some exfoliating skin turnover properties. Since it's formulated for the sensitive area around the eye, it's going to cause minimal irritation. So at the very least you're helping to target your anti-aging concerns and you may get some benefit in improving milia that's currently around your eyes if that's what you're experiencing."

"I do love ROC. Their price points are amazing. And the fact that this has retinol in it, one of the most powerful ingredients for helping to fade hyperpigmentation and dark spots, I was like, you know what? I'm going to give it a try. And you know what? It's good. It is good. It's good. But I think for me it was kind of a similar experience to where on paper on the ingredient list everything was good. I just didn't see enough results to actually brighten the darkness on my under eyes. It just didn't do quite enough even though I totally understand the hype and I think the ingredient list is great and I love using retinol on the under eye area. It just wasn't powerful enough on its own. But still a great product. I'm going to put this one in slept on. And this is definitely one that I would recommend, especially if you're starting to look for an eye cream and you don't want to have to spend a lot of money. This is a great one to start with, but I just wish it did more."

"I still think this is a pretty good value. $30 for the two, $15 a piece. Yeah, it's only half an ounce, but when it comes to just treating the eyelids, you don't need very much. A retinol eye cream tends to be a lot gentler than a retinol face cream. One big difference I've noticed in testing out many retinol face versus eye creams and using them around my face and on my face and around my eyes is that the facial ones, the formulas tend to be more inclined to melt into your eyes as opposed to the eye one. That's a big difference I've noticed personally. Retinol used around the eyes can improve collagen production, and so that may improve dark circles by thickening the skin underneath the eyes. It has ascorbic acid, vitamin C in it."
