I Bought & Tested the Rhode Summer Launch...

"She picked up the cream bronzer, called the Pocket Bronzer, in the lightest shade Pebble, curious whether they got a rosy rather than orange or yellow undertone right for her fair skin. Swatched next to her Westman Atelier contour stick, she found the Rhode one has a bit more rosy undertone though it's still a proper bronzer and does add warmth, while the Westman one runs deeper and warmer. Applied all over with a brush, she loved how sheer and buildable it was, and said it dries down and self-sets so it doesn't leave a greasy, balmy finish. She said she's happy about the bronzer, it's really nice, definitely more warm-toned, so if you have fair skin with a cool undertone it will add warmth, though it's not the most neutral bronzer she owns, it's not turning her orange. She thinks it looks very healthy and natural, thinks the formula is really nice, and said she has a feeling she'll keep reaching for it. She called it a really gorgeous formula and color and said if you like the blush formula you'll really like this too."

"This is the Rhode Pocket Bronzer, in shades Pebble and Sip. People love this bronzer, but I'm not a fan of the blush, so I wanted to see if it's the same formula in a bronzer stick. Pebble looks a little more gray and colder, Sip looks like it'll give more of a golden bronze, more orange on me. It's very sculpting, this looks borderline contour, it would be a great bronzer on a fairer skin tone, but on me it looks more like a naturally shadowed contour shade. Using a finger you can really push the product nicely into your skin. Would I run out and abandon all my other bronzers to hunt down this one? Absolutely not. It's a nice bronzer, but is it wildly different to other cream bronzers I've used? Not really. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it though. When I mix Pebble and Sip together it looks a little bit bruised, perhaps it's a bit too yellow for my neutral skin tone, but Pebble by itself is much better on my skin. Am I going to replace my current bronzers with this? No, I think I'll get through my other bronzer first and then move back onto these, but they're fine, they're nice. I support the product, I support people's love for the product, I'm just not blown away."

"These do look good, and their bronzer range looks incredible. It's lightweight, lasts all day, and melts on smoothly, and it's fragrance-free. I bought these, but not because I was very interested in them, because I thought the people that follow me would be. Would I have purchased these had I not thought about making a video of them? No, I wouldn't. I don't like the pocket blush actually. I do like Rhode, a lot of the blushes, that's the only thing I don't like."
