What this actually is is a gentle non-stripping cleanser, and honestly that's fine, that's what a cleanser should be, and for melanin rich skin that matters because a compromised skin barrier makes hyperpigmentation worse. It also contains poly glutamic acid which is five times more hydrating than hyaluronic acid, and the formula overall is well constructed, though seabuckthorn oil is in here which is high in oleic acid, usually fine but worth knowing if your skin is very reactive. Overall this is a good daily well formulated cleanser, but for $32 for a cleanser, spend your budget somewhere else, there are comparable options out there at a fraction of the price."
