"This is the Rhode Highlight Milk Multi-Purpose Illuminizer. I bought it thinking it was a highlighter stick, I just didn't read it properly. It's like a hybrid of their skincare with an effect to it, it has this glow to it. This is the lightest shade, shade one. It says to shake it before you use it. It's like this pinky pearlescent sheen. It feels very, very lightweight, extremely lightweight. It does have a really beautiful glow to it. [...] The only thing I'm worried about with glowy products like this is the glitter content, glowy to me does not mean glittery. [...] It doesn't look overly glittery in real life, but there's the smallest fleck of glitter. It is very pinky on my skin, but that's because I bought the lighter shade, there's a shade that's more champagney that I think will be nicer on my skin. Would I buy this again? I don't think I would, only because there is the tiniest amount of glitter in it, I'm just not a glittery person. However, the positives, it's not too heavy on my skin, it's not over hydrating, and I feel like the glow is going to be there without being greasy. If you don't mind a little bit of shimmer, this might be okay for you. It's a bit glittery for me, but I'll use it up, it'll be fine."

"The hype around the new Rhode summer launch really was it, it definitely lives up to the hype in my opinion. This highlight milk is so pretty. I've really loved using it underneath makeup. I've also used it as a highlighter. I also love putting it all over my neck and chest, and even on my arms. I've used it in so many ways. I love this shade, shade 01, which is perfect if you've got fair skin because it's got a bit more of a pearly pink undertone to it, so it just looks like your skin but healthier in the best way. This comes in several different shades. I'm obsessed."

I Bought & Tested the Rhode Summer Launch...
"She tried the Highlight Milk in what she calls the shade Pink Glaze (though she admits she isn't sure that's the real name, possibly shade 01), part of a four shade launch retailing at $28, though hers came cheaper in a set with the bronzer. Swatching it, she found a gorgeous pink glow, a sheer base, and said it definitely gives extra glow with a pink pearl that isn't sparkly. Applied on the face over her skincare it worked well tapped on like a primer, and she pictured using it as a sheer base layer before foundation or mixed into foundation. Tried on the arm and hand, it sank in and left a gorgeous pearl, still hydrating like the original milk, and she loved that it wasn't glittery, just looked hydrated on the skin. She said most body glow products aren't catered to fair skin tones and usually go orange or bronze, but this had a gorgeous champagne pink that felt natural for her. She called the highlight milk a win, said the color is fabulous for fair skin tones with a cool undertone, and said if you like the original milk you'll really love this. She'd use it everyday but is especially excited to use it on the body for going out looks, and also felt it worked as a great skin prep primer for a glow boost on the face. If she had to pick just one product from the launch, she said the highlight milk is something different and unique."
