What the gurus are saying

The gurus who reviewed it praise this formula for being well-tolerated by sensitive skin while still delivering antioxidant and skin-brightening benefits. The vitamin C here uses a gentler, more stable form that's less irritating than standard ascorbic acid, making it a solid pick for those who've found other vitamin C serums too harsh or destabilizing. The experts note it has clinical backing and may help with uneven tone and hyperpigmentation, so those looking to brighten without irritation may want to try it.

"If you cannot tolerate vitamin C in its ascorbic acid form because these are just going to be too irritating for certain sensitive or acne prone skin types, may I recommend the Revision Skincare C++ Correcting Complex. I am obsessed with this. They have really good clinical data on this specific formula. It is lovely. This formula uses tetrahexyl ascorbate, also known as THD ascorbate, which is just a different form of vitamin C, less irritating and a little more stable too. You'll see that this is white, whereas most vitamin C serums are going to be slightly yellowish, and that's from the vitamin C starting to oxidize a little bit. But this is so beautiful. I would put this on in the morning before I do my sunscreen."

"Revision C+ Correcting Complex contains 30% lipid vitamin C and that one is great. It has a unique formulation that not only offers great antioxidant support but also has been shown to help with hyperpigmentation. It's a great one that's been clinically studied and better for those that have maybe sensitive skin or looking for an antioxidant serum that also offers skin brightening and helping with hyperpigmentation."
