"The Remedy Dark Spot Serum is a great one. In addition to tranexamic acid, it's got mandelic acid which is an AHA exfoliant that is rumored to help with hyperpigmentation. It has glutathione, another great brightening ingredient, kic acid, turmeric, licorice root, silymarin extract, and then retinol and green tea. So this is a great do-it-all kind of product that covers a lot of different areas of ingredients. If you haven't tried this one and you have hyperpigmentation or dark spots, this one's a great one because it just covers a lot of bases with a lot of great ingredients."

"Right now I'm telling all these people like, let's say you have a problem with dark spots for example, which is one of our bestselling products. I would tell you like, oh you got to buy this, this and this. And I thought to myself, why can't we just put these all in one product? It's not as simple as it seems obviously, like trying to put all these ingredients in one formula, stabilizing and putting them at the right pH, it's not an easy task. "Remedy Dark Spot is a really nice product because I feel like there needs to be more products that are formulated with ingredients that work together synergistically to target hyperpigmentation from various angles at the same time, which minimizes the need to layer on all these products so you reduce irritation. "The dark spots is probably the one that actually stood out to me because of the sheer amount of ingredients and I'll be honest I was a little bit nervous because I really want to support this brand, Dr. Shah is one of a handful dermatologists who I really really trust online, and I was like what if my skin just can't handle this. However, my skin is absolutely fine with this, in fact it's really been enjoying it so far. In here we have 0.1% encapsulated retinol, mandelic acid which is a gentle AHA, 1% kojic acid which I feel like isn't in enough skincare again to help with dark spots, and we have glutathione again to help with dark spots, licorice root, 3% tranexamic acid, 5% niacinamide, 1% coumarin which I've never heard of before but this is a milk feeble derived flavonoid that helps prevent new dark spots and offers profound photoprotective benefits, along with glycerin, squalane, turmeric root extract, green tea, licorice root extract, ceramides, there is everything in here. It's like the chemists were like what do you want and Dr. Shah was like yes, everything. And all this is in such a nice lightweight, soothing feeling kind of texture. There is a slight smell to it that you would expect honestly from something with so many key ingredients and so many actives."

"I'm currently using and absolutely loving this. I've used it since it launched pretty much and it's worked really, really well for me. The formulation has tranexamic acid in here, kic acid which they're using in place of alpha arbutin, which will work in a similar way to turbocharge the results. You've also got some encapsulated retinoid which is going to help really get on top of that hyperpigmentation. Licorice which is a great natural brightening agent and you've got some niacinamide. Used alongside other actives it can work really well. I'd use this A.M. and PM to really get the outcomes you want."

"Remedy for dark spots is one of people's favorite products with tons of incredible before and afters. If you have dark spots, discoloration, post-inflammatory dark spots, dark spots from acne, dark spots from the sun, this really is the go-to product. We have retinol, niacinamide, kic acid, glutathione, everything that really helps with dark spots. The challenge is people will only use it for two weeks and they won't use sunscreen with it. You have to use it for four to eight weeks. You have to wear sunscreen in the morning because anytime you're treating dark spots and you continue to get inflammation from the sun, it really sets you backwards. It really has everything in it. If this doesn't work, then go see your dermatologist because this is really the best thing that we have available over the counter to treat dark spots."

"The formulation is really logical and makes a lot of sense, nothing unnecessary or superfluous. I've tried this out myself and I really like the formula. As far as the feel, it spreads on the skin easily, it's hydrating, didn't cause me any irritation, didn't sting. I love that it's fragrance-free, there's no odor with this. It does have 5% niacinamide, which has been shown to be helpful for improving hydration of the skin, decreasing flakiness, and there's some thought that it may inhibit pigment production, especially when coupled with niacinamide. I do think it is a good formula worth trying out if you're looking to improve the look of dark spots. You could also use it on the backs of the hands or on the upper chest to specifically tackle dark spots. It does have 0.1% retinol, so if you're already using a retinol, I don't suggest using this along with it."
