What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this cleanser for keeping oil in check without stripping, making it particularly well-suited for those with oily skin. They recommend a 60-second massage to wake up the skin and boost lymphatic drainage. The formulation follows the same gentle principles found in other respected cleansers like Vanicream, and gurus emphasize cleansing as a foundational bookend of any skincare routine.

"Remedy follows very similar formulation principles when it comes to cleansers as well. So, cleansers from Remedy, cleansers from Vanicream are good options."

"This is my personal favorite. It keeps the oil levels in my oily skin in check, but it doesn't strip and dry. Put this on for 60 seconds by just working it in, massaging it in. That is going to wake up the skin, get the lymphatic drainage going, and it's one of the really quickest ways of getting a little bit more in terms of bang for your buck from the rest of your routine. Cleansing is just as important as your sunscreen, which comes at the end. These are the bookends of your routine. Get those wrong and there's no point doing anything in between in my view."
