What the gurus are saying

Gurus overwhelmingly praise this serum as an effective, affordable brightening workhorse with a water-light texture that layers easily. The consistent praise centers on its multi-ingredient approach to pigmentation, frequent repurchases, and suitability across most skin types. One reviewer flagged potential sensitivity concerns for very reactive skin, and fragrance is noted as present in the formula. The main hesitation is price perception, though gurus emphasize the product is concentrated enough to last months.

"This is my fourth bottle now, it's 42 bucks. In here we've got niacinamide, tranexamic acid, acetyl glucosamine, alpha arbutin, licorice, curcumin which is a compound from turmeric, and then hexyl resveratrol for brightening. This one's really nice, acne-prone skin friendly, actually pretty friendly for all skin types. It's got some nice ingredients in there that aren't in a few of these, such as the hexyl resveratrol."

"Regimen Lab Level Serum, this stuff's wonderful for hyperpigmentation, melasma, dark spots. It's got a light water texture I really enjoy. I finish this one up and I'll definitely pick up another one. This is certainly something I would come back to in the future."
Transparent Lab PIH Sun Spot Fading Treatment for Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Serum Review
"There's a wide variety of brightening and pigmentation fighting ingredients in here, uses five different lighting ingredients as well as salicylic acid. It's friendly for all skin types including dry, oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin with no ingredients that would be irritating for acne-prone skin. That's amazing that they can include this many different ingredients to brighten up skin and not irritate any skin types or be too much or too drying or too oily or too greasy. Once it's soaked in it kind of sets to a slightly radiant finish. In terms of the price, this stuff is a bargain: 30 milliliters for 18 bucks, that's a really good deal. I really enjoyed this one and I highly recommend it for people with melasma, sunspots, dark spots, and hyperpigmentation issues."

"Regimen Lab Level Serum is really wonderful. In here we've got niacinamide, tranexamic acid, acetyl glucosamine, alpha arbutin, sepy white, licorice extract, and a turmeric-based active tetrahydrofurolmethine from the turmeric plant, and then hexorescinol. This one is absolutely lovely. It's a little bit more pricey than some of the other options, but they do have sales from time to time where you can pick it up with a set."

Best Brightening Skincare Products of 2023 💎💡 Hyperpigmentation, Dark Spots, PIH, Melasma and More!
"Regimen Lab Level Serum, this stuff's very impressive. So in here we've got niacinamide, we've got tranexamic acid, got alpha arbutin, we've got licorice root and we've got hexylresorcinol and all of those ingredients are good at fighting pigmentation, clearing it up and some of them are good at preventing it from forming so you can treat ones that exist and then also prevent new hyperpigmentation from forming with certain ingredients. This one's really nice, it's pretty affordable. The texture is water light so you can fit it into your routine really really easily without having to change anything else around. I've repurchased it three times now. You can use it morning or evening routine."
Anti-Aging Evening Skincare Routine - Products for Treating Fine Lines, Wrinkles, and Skin Tone
"I'm going with the Regimen Lab Level Serum for brightening and that's why I applied a kind of neutral product in between the ultimate serum which has a lot of peptides and something like this which has some tranexamic acid in things I think it helps play better with the other products if you apply something in between a friendly product that works good between both of them. I just love this serum because hyperpigmentation melasma are a pain to get rid of if you ever can get rid of them, especially melasma once you've got it it's difficult to get rid of it if not impossible but you can make it a lot less noticeable by using brightening products and sunscreen and stay out of the bright lights."
The Best Serums of 2023 😍🙌 My Favorite Facial Serums of the Year
"The Regimen Lab Level Serum for brightening your skin up, it's really nice product and really good brightening ingredients. So if you have melasma, hyperpigmentation, this one is worth a try. I think this is my fourth bottle of it now and I really love it for all of those reasons."
Most Often Recommended & Best Products for Dark Spots, Hyperpigmentation and Melasma
"The Regimen Lab Level serum, hands down for hyperpigmentation and melasma, one of my most often recommended products. In here we've got niacinamide, tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, licorice root, and hexyl resveratrol. This stuff is really nice, fragrance-free. A little bit goes a long way. It might look initially a little pricey, but a bottle like this that's 1 oz with daily use will last I would say 2 to 3 months because it's super light. Less than a pump is enough to cover your whole face, so it's a very nice product."
Best Brightening Products for Dark Spots, Hyperpigmentation, Melasma, & PIH - How I Treat My Melasma
"I've got the Regimen Lab Level Serum, third, fourth bottle of this, fifth maybe, I don't know. It's wonderful. So in here we've got niacinamide, we've got cetyl glucosamine, tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, an ingredient called underoyl phenoline, licorice root, and hexosorcinol. So this one's got a few ingredients that none of the other ones have as well, so something worth considering to try if you've tried a lot of other brightening products. This one's really affordable, 17 bucks I think, not on sale."

"You've got your tranexamic acid. You've got your blend of different acids in terms of exfoliators and hyperpigmentation treatments. And you've got some brightening agents too. I'd say this is definitely up there in terms of potency. So, if you have very sensitive skin, this might not be for you. But if your skin is more resilient, not prone to sensitivity, this could work really, really well. I tried it and I started to see results in about 9, 10 weeks time. So again, super quick turnaround and a really nice option, particularly if you're shopping in the US or Canada where Regimen Lab is really easy to get your hands on. I love this."
