    What the gurus are saying

This tinted moisturizer stands out for its longevity, staying put and looking fresh from morning through long travel days without fading or breaking down. Reviewers praise the coverage it delivers despite its lightweight feel, along with the hydrating, natural finish it leaves on skin. The talc-free formula creates a diffused, seamless layer, though it is not a full-coverage base for heavy makeup looks.

"It's very lightweight, so if you're into a full face of makeup situation this is not going to be it, but the finish on that is beautiful. It has a lovely finish to it. I think that is absolutely beautiful. It's got okay coverage, there's no redness here, and it feels really nice. It feels hydrating on the skin, which is the name of the game in my book. If you layer it up you can get to a medium coverage, and it ends up giving pretty good coverage if you're needing it."

"Enough coverage to conceal blemishes but still looks super natural. I have oily skin and would wear it to the gym and it didn't budge all day."

The Series is BACK!!!! The #1 Skin Tints ACCORDING TO YOU 😍
"Genug Deckkraft, um Unreinheiten abzudecken, aber sieht trotzdem super natürlich aus."
    The #1 Foundations for FALL + a secret 😉
"The first one is the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer. This is such a good tinted moisturizer. It's not a tinted moisturizer where you literally can't tell any difference if it's on your face or not. This gives you really good coverage, and I love the longevity that this has. It feels lightweight, it really wears well on me, and I just love how fresh my skin looks when I wear this. It's so beautiful."
The PERFECT Summer Makeup (Easy for Everyday)
"I really really wanted to revisit the Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer. This stuff is so good. I love to use tinted moisturizers in the summertime but not all tinted moisturizers work well on me because I need longevity. If I'm going to do my makeup it needs to stay on my face. With this tinted moisturizer it gives really nice coverage but it lasts forever on the skin. For a tinted moisturizer it has insane longevity. It literally looks the same at the end of the day as it does at the beginning of the day. I wore this to the airport once on a long travel day and I got to my hotel and it looked amazing. That was enough for me to know that this is something that I would revisit every summer. It's one of my favorite tinted moisturizers ever. I wear the shade 14W."
Testing the NEW Rare Beauty Pressed Powder 😱
"I felt like it would be the perfect time to bring back my favorite complexion product from Rare Beauty which is the Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer. I love this so much. I just find that this product wears really well and it also offers a really nice level of coverage even though it's a tinted moisturizer. I absolutely love it."

"Enough coverage to conceal blemishes but still looks super natural. I have oily skin and would wear it to the gym and it didn't budge all day."

    What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

    Vitamin C

Topical vitamin C is an antioxidant with reasonable evidence for dullness and uneven tone. It breaks down in light and air, so how a product is formulated and packaged matters as much as the percentage on the front.

    Sunscreen filters

Sun protection is the best evidenced way to slow visible ageing, and the filters are what does the work. Mineral and chemical filters both protect when a product is applied thickly enough and often enough, which is where most people fall short rather than on the choice of filter.

    Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and it is often in a formula to keep the other ingredients stable rather than as the active itself. It pairs well with vitamin C, though on its own the evidence for visible change is limited.
