What the gurus are saying

This liquid luminizer builds an intense, foiled glow that reads almost like a natural sheen rather than obvious shimmer. The intensity is its signature, which means it rewards a light hand: applying small amounts with fingertips or a fluffy brush and melting it into skin keeps the effect glowing rather than overdone. Those who layer it across the inner corners, eyelids, and high points of the face find it creates a soft, pretty luminosity.

"This is also brand new. I haven't really used it yet, but it's one of their highlighters. There's a few shades, but see how like coppery rose gold it is. It's not necessarily shimmer, but it's still got a metallic in there. The metallic in that is heaven."

"For my highlights I'm going to be using this Rare Beauty Positive Light Liquid Luminizer. I love the liquid luminizer. I'm going to be placing this in my inner corner and I'm going to be using this kind of like all over the face because especially in this image she has this really beautiful like natural looking glow, it almost looks like sweat, but like in the best way possible, it looks like a natural glow. I'm placing this in my inner corner, I'm going to be placing this on the eyelid, I'm going to use it on my cheekbones on all the high points of the face. I didn't build it up too much because this is a pretty intense highlighter. Like if you use a lot it is intense, like it is foiled. So I'm using small amounts with a fluffy brush just to create these really beautiful natural looking highlights, which just makes it soften the look, it makes it look a little bit more pretty."

Doja Cat's makeup + MY makeup brush 🙃
"I want to beam in highlight so I'm going to use Rare Beauty. I've got two of these, I have the more golden one and then the really pale one. I'm gonna mix and lighten and exhilarate, and Leighton is the lightest one. Yeah, I want an intense highlight. I'm gonna hit the tip of my nose, above my lip, my brow bone. Damn, I forgot how intense these were. That's what I wanted."

"That's the Rare Beauty highlighter. My foundation is L'Oreal True Match. My concealer was Nars. Let's give it a test wear. I'm going to be back in, like, 3 hours. Let's see if the makeup stays the same with this hack. 2 hours later and I look, we cracked the code."

"This is their liquid luminizer and I have mine in the shade enlightened. It's a pretty intense highlight if I do recall. I think where I've gone wrong with this product in the past is applying it directly to the face because it is so intense and it's easy to go overboard with. I feel like it's really nice when you apply it with your fingertips and melt the product into your skin a little bit so you don't have too much."
