"I don't usually do eye primers, I don't generally have a separate one for that, but I bought this five months ago and never used it. I haven't tested this to see if it works or not. It does give a little bit of brightening too, because when you get to be older you can get discoloration which I do have. I can have a bit of redness or just general blotchiness. So it definitely has a lighter, nice little base to it, and it does have what feels like a tiny bit of tackiness, but tackiness in a good way."

"The one that I'm loving for that lately is the Rare Beauty It's Always an Optimist Weightless Eye Primer. This is a great primer, it's kind of a cream color so it will start to color correct your eyelids, but it's very lightweight. It's not sticky but it's not super grippy, so you can actually blend your eyeshadow out with it. I just apply a little bit of it to my eyelids and spread it around with my fingers."

"I had been looking for a different eyelid primer and wanted to give this one a try because it doesn't contain bismuth oxychloride, that ingredient that makes my eyelids itchy that is in a lot of eyelid primers, and this one it's not in there. I really like this as an eyelid primer. It's really sheer, it goes on really nicely, and the eyeshadows go on over it so nicely. It's not super grippy so you can blend your eyeshadows a little bit better with this. It does hold it in place for the entire day, keeps it from settling in your creases, but it also gives you that blendability that you want so that your eye looks come out nice and blended and nice and subtle."

"I always recommend an eyelid primer it will help your powder eyeshadows to stay in place better so that they won't settle in your crease it'll give you better color payoff they'll help you with the blend. The Rare Beauty eyelid primer is really good. I was looking for one that didn't contain bismuth oxychloride because that's an ingredient that's in a lot of eyelid primers and it tends to irritate my eyelids, you know they get a little stingy and burny sometimes, but this doesn't make them sting and burn so I love this one. It'll hide any veins or freckles or redness on your eyelids and it's a beautiful product and eyeshadows just blend over it so beautifully."
