Calming Moisture Barrier Cream.

"This is from a very classic Korean brand but this formula is really innovative and different from their other products, the Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream. It's so refreshing compared to their classic products, which tend to have very heavy thick creams that I personally never really loved in the past. This one is a lightweight gel cream consistency that still focuses on nurturing the health of your moisture barrier, with great ingredients including multiple types of hyaluronic acid, squalane, centella, and madecassoside. It's super lightweight on the skin but adds a nice ever so light glow that feels perfect for fall and winter time. I will admit using this in the middle of summer during the day made my skin a little bit more shiny, since I have really oily skin, but I was very pleasantly surprised to find this one considering the less than ideal experience I've had with Pyunkang Yul products from the past. I feel like this formula really is underrated and I'm excited to continue using it, especially during the drier months when my skin really needs the hydration."

"This moisturizer is also from Pyunkang Yul, the moisture barrier cream. It's named a cream, but the texture is in the middle of a lotion and a cream, more watery. It's a jar type, which isn't hygienic, it's uncomfortable compared to a tube type. It's soft when applied but it dries out quickly, so for dry skin it does not fit the name barrier cream. For oily combo skin you'll feel it's a bit sticky. Round Lab is much lighter and applies better. If I had to say, dry skin could use it lightly in summer, but I don't like the texture or the jar, it's a pass for me."
