"The Proactiv Deep Cleansing Face Wash, I have never tried this, but in my personal opinion this is not an acne cleanser that I would recommend. It's using vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid, which isn't really the best treatment for acne, I would say salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, or some of the more gentle options in K beauty. That in combination with gentle exfoliating beads, I just think there's a lot of better options for a cleanser that might help with acne."

"What I personally hate, my biggest pet peeve, is why would you spend so much money on a cleanser when you're literally washing your money down the drain? The packaging is chic and very heavy and probably very expensive, but that's really what you're paying for. It is nice. If you got the money and you want to knock yourself out, go ahead, but do you really need to? Are you going to have the best glowiest, most dewy skin because of this? Most likely not. If it floats your boat and it makes you happy, then sure, but for most lay people out there, I would say you really don't need to spend your money on that."
