"I just do not like this sunscreen. It's got 18% zinc oxide plus bioactive antioxidant compounds plus bisabolol, which sounds wonderful in theory, but it is so heavy feeling, so shiny, I almost feel like it's glittery. Is Prequel Skincare Worth It?

"Now if you have a deeper skin tone it may leave a white cast, as do most zinc oxide sunscreens leave some degree of a white cast. I will say however I did experience a little bit of peeling with this when applied over the Lucent C, even after allowing the Lucent C to absorb dry fully, waiting 30 minutes to put the sunscreen on, I did get a little bit of peeling. And if you have ever experienced peeling it can be very frustrating. SPF 50 for $22, that's pretty good."

"Once I rubbed it in, this was just so shiny on my face. I just felt like I looked wet. It doesn't feel particularly greasy going on, it actually feels very nice and lightweight and I like the texture of it a lot, but it also didn't really seem to dry back completely during the day so my face felt a little tacky and a little damp all day. The other thing I didn't love about it is it didn't sting when I put it on, but that night when I washed my face, oh my gosh, my skin was on fire."

"This is one of the lightest weight mineral sunscreens I've ever used ever and it does have this peachy hue to it which does kind of counteract that usual very white mineral sunscreen cast that a lot of people get. That being said, it's still looks a little ghosty on me but after about 30 minutes with this on that kind of white sheen does disappear and it does kind of just have this healthy looking peachy glow to it."

Anything that I apply over it, it tends to peel a little bit, which is really disappointing because I had really high hopes with this.
