"This has been added to the retinols and retinaldehydes I recommend. This is a lovely, lovely formula. In addition to the retinaldehyde, it's got cica, compounds from centella which are anti-inflammatory, and it has ectoin, an extremolyte that's hydrating and antioxidant. This is the 0.1% retinaldehyde gel, they also make a 0.2%, but I [...] would not put too much stock in those being drastically different. [...] They're really really good for your moisturizing needs and very rich, and I ended up using this in the morning too since you can use retinol in the morning, it's not completely off the table. Really really like this."

"I don't personally use this because I already use adapalene, but my partner started using the 0.2% and it's been absolutely amazing to watch her skin transform. She's tested other retinoid products since and isn't liking them as much as this, this one was the best she has tried. 0.2% is a strong level, so if you're new to the ingredient you might want to start with the 0.1% instead."
