"I wanted to make a more targeted redness serum so Prequel also has a Redness Reform serum that I am obsessed with. This has something called an avenanthramide analog in it which is derived from oat and has soothing properties, so for people who have redness due to low-grade irritation this can be very helpful. It also has this really interesting ingredient in the skin called piperonal glucose which essentially targets certain receptors in the skin that make someone more prone to redness, and when those receptors are targeted their redness is less likely to flare. I really just felt like redness is a huge concern and there were so few products that I could routinely recommend to patients that weren't prescriptions but still would work well with the rest of their skincare, so I'm super happy to have that in the Prequel lineup now."
