"I'm starting off this morning using the Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser to wash my face. I do have some oil buildup and skin care from the night before, so I definitely want to gently cleanse that off. And this one's been really nice. It has this jelly-like texture and it's very gentle."

"This is the Prequel cleanser. This is a very gentle cleanser. And since this is an evening routine, I do suggest using a cleanser that is very gentle like this one. Something that doesn't make your skin feel squeaky clean or really tight right after washing it. That's actually going to make your dehydration worse. Cleansing is definitely something you want to keep your eye on with dehydrated skin because it can actually strip a lot of the essential moisture from your skin. That actually makes the dehydrated feeling a lot worse. So what I would actually suggest is in the evening, use the gentlest cleanser that you can stand."

There are some surfactants in here which normally I like a face wash with no surfactants, I don't like anything that foams or strips my skin, but the idea behind this one is that they put in 50% glycerin and glycerin is one of the workhorses of our skincare routine. It's in everything, it's humectant, it keeps the surfactants that are in here from stripping your skin so it keeps your skin more hydrated while it does its work of cleaning your skin. My only complaint about this is that it takes a little bit longer to rinse this away than some of the other cleansers that I'm used to for my second cleanse. "On paper, this should have been perfect for me. It's packed with glycerin, super nourishing, all the things I would normally love. I was so sure I was going to love it I bought two. I didn't really enjoy this on my face. I just don't love foaming cleansers. I didn't know that this was a foaming cleanser. But as a body cleanser, oh my gosh, fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. "This has oat flour which is packed with wonderful hydrating ingredients and helps with cleansing. It also has Arginine, a natural moisturizing factor naturally present in your skin that, like glycerin, can help overall with moisture retention. It's gentle enough to use around my eyes to wash off eye makeup. I do a mascara test where I wash my face with a cleanser in the shower without using any makeup removing balm, oil, or wipe, just the cleanser. If I step out and have raccoon eyes, it fails. This passed the mascara test. They advertise it as having a pH of 4.5, which is great, it's more on the acidic side, which is beneficial for people who have eczema-prone skin or atopic dermatitis. Harsher cleansers with a higher pH can be disruptive to an already impaired skin barrier. The texture is a little bit thick as you spread it over the skin, which I've experienced with other glycerin-based gel cleansers before, but as you spread it over the skin surface it starts to work up into a mild silky lather with a little bit of creamy foam to it. Importantly, it rinses off the skin easily, doesn't leave behind a residue."

"The best thing from that line that I've tried so far has to be the Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser. I was using it as both a face wash and a body wash, and then I just used it as a face wash, and I'm using it now as a hand wash. I find that really helps me out a lot because I am prone to eczema on my hands, especially where you get those little itchy blisters, so I avoid any kind of harsh hand washes. It doesn't aggravate my hand eczema."

It spreads on so amazingly, spreads so much with the tiniest amount, and even that tiny amount foams up like crazy in this soft lather. It just feels like it's like cushioning your skin. "I have been obsessed with Prequel. The Prequel Cleanser has kind of become a bit of an icon amongst influencers and the skincare community because it is one of the most interesting cleansers I think that's been launched for a while. This contains 50% glycerin which is a huge amount and you can really see that in the kind of jellylike texture of this product. It's a lot softer and kind of fluidy, but still has that thickness to it. And this gives a really nice soft foam that does feel like it's a moisturizer. You foam up and then you just feel like you're rubbing in something so gentle and nourishing. We also have arginine, oat, and aloe so it's super soothing. It leaves your skin feeling untouched, even moisturized to a point. It's weird because I've never used a facial cleanser like this. There have been ones that have been similar but they don't quite leave you with that untouched feeling. I've had this since it launched and there's so much left and I use it every single day, morning cleanse or evening cleanse or both. It's just a cleanser I want to use and really look forward to using."

"This cleanser kind of turns into a really lightweight foam that feels like you're moisturizing your face with that foam. It doesn't feel like it's stripping anything. It rinses away with a really really good deep cleanse without the stripping of a deep cleanse. We have oat in here as well, I believe it's oat kernel extract which is lovely and soothing, so you can really take your time with this, and aloe as well, soothing and hydrating. It's just such a nice cleanser. It's quite a unique cleanser in the sense that the texture is a little bit different. There are a few other similar cleansers, but as far as how it then interacts on the skin, how it then foams up, how it then leaves your skin, is fairly unique. The thing about this that just feels a lot more nourishing and moisturizing than any other cleanser I've used."

"This is Cleanser Plus Glycolic, our non-drying glycolic acid cleanser for face and body. It has 5% glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is the gold standard alpha hydroxy acid. It is a small molecule that's highly water soluble, and it penetrates the skin very well. It makes it great for things like boosting skin cell turnover, brightening the appearance of dark spots, and doing things like smoothing the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
