"I'm starting off this morning using the Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser to wash my face. I do have some oil buildup and skin care from the night before, so I definitely want to gently cleanse that off. And this one's been really nice. It has this jelly-like texture and it's very gentle."

"This is the Prequel cleanser. This is a very gentle cleanser. And since this is an evening routine, I do suggest using a cleanser that is very gentle like this one. Something that doesn't make your skin feel squeaky clean or really tight right after washing it. That's actually going to make your dehydration worse. Cleansing is definitely something you want to keep your eye on with dehydrated skin because it can actually strip a lot of the essential moisture from your skin. That actually makes the dehydrated feeling a lot worse. So what I would actually suggest is in the evening, use the gentlest cleanser that you can stand."

"Another brand I'm really liking is Prequel, and they've got some really nice, affordable cleansers. This one's 13 ounces and it's really affordable. They tend to be sold at Target, so you can pick it up at the same stores you'd pick up Cetaphil and Cave. Harsher cleansers with a higher pH can be disruptive to an already impaired skin barrier. The texture is a little bit thick as you spread it over the skin, which I've experienced with other glycerin-based gel cleansers before, but as you spread it over the skin surface it starts to work up into a mild silky lather with a little bit of creamy foam to it. Importantly, it rinses off the skin easily, doesn't leave behind a residue."

"The best thing from that line that I've tried so far has to be the Prequel Non-Drying Glycerin Cleanser. I was using it as both a face wash and a body wash, and then I just used it as a face wash, and I'm using it now as a hand wash. I find that really helps me out a lot because I am prone to eczema on my hands, especially where you get those little itchy blisters, so I avoid any kind of harsh hand washes. "I knew I was going to love this product so much so that I bought two, this is the Cleanser by Prequel, it's a non-drying cleanser that contains 50% glycerin. So this just has my name all over it but as it turns out it's actually not for me. So for some reason, I just assumed a glycerin cleanser was going to feel like a gel cleanser, just the way that it performed on my skin, but as it turns out this is actually a foaming cleanser. I don't like foaming cleansers and I'm sure it's all in my head but I just can't shake the feeling that foam cleansers are stripping my skin. They say that inulin helps keep the skin nicely moisturized even when you wash it off your face. Combined with lecithin derived lipids to improve hydration. "You need half a pump, otherwise you are going to drown in the product. It spreads on so amazingly, spreads so much with the tiniest amount, and even that tiny amount foams up like crazy in this soft lather. It just feels like it's like cushioning your skin. It's the nicest cleanser I think I've ever used. You could use this as a first or second cleanse. This is also a cleanser you can take into the shower and use it on those drier bits of skin. In Winter, my shins, the back of my arms, for some reason get really dry, and this is a product you want to use. "I have been obsessed with Prequel. "This cleanser kind of turns into a really lightweight foam that feels like you're moisturizing your face with that foam. It doesn't feel like it's stripping anything. It rinses away with a really really good deep cleanse without the stripping of a deep cleanse. We have oat in here as well, I believe it's oat kernel extract which is lovely and soothing, so you can really take your time with this, and aloe as well, soothing and hydrating.
