Multi-Acid Milk Peel AHA Exfoliating Solution.

"This is about 220 milliliters of AHA goodness. That is huge. Some of these products that I use with this amount of AHA are like 30 milliliter or 50 milliliter. So this really big size actually makes this really economical for body use. And that is why it's impressed me this month. I've actually been using this for especially for my back, the tops of my arms, my chest, and now that sandal season is starting to wind down, I'm starting to use this on my feet as well because AHA helps to exfoliate the top surface of skin. It's particularly good for any dead skin cell buildup like rough and calloused feet. It can definitely help to soften up those areas. It can also help to brighten up any uneven skin. "This is a great affordable dupe for a super popular expensive exfoliant. It has lactic acid in it and it has some other alpha hydroxy acids. It's a lightweight hydrating milky toner. You get quite a bit of product in this bottle. I have been working on this particular bottle off and on for a while now. Like when I run out of amlactin, I find myself using this. I put it on my body and then I put another moisturizer on because it's real thin. It does effectively hydrate and gently gently exfoliate rough skin texture. This is a great option not only for rejuvenating dry dull rough skin texture. It can be used on the body, but it's also really wonderful if you have keratosis pilaris. I think this is a great option not only for the body like the arms, the thighs, wherever you deal with it, but you can also obviously use this on the face. The reason I call it an affordable dupe is if you have ever come across the Sunday Riley Good Genes, that is so expensive. It's very popular and at the end of the day, it's a lactic acid toner, serum, whatever you want to name it. This does what that does, but much less expensive. Very good formulation. Highly recommend that."

"This new one from Prequel has been really cool. This is the multi-acid milk peel. It's an AHA exfoliating solution. It has a blend. It helps improve skin texture, clarity, radiance without irritation. Comes in a giant bottle. It's really nice. You can use it on your face, neck, chest, really entire body if you wanted to. It has a really nice blend of glycolic, phytic, malic, mandelic, lactic. The glycolic in here is 15% compared to the ordinary, which is only seven. So glycolic is a smaller molecule. It's going to penetrate deeper. So this is going to be significantly a little bit spicier, like more potent than the ordinary. If you're new to exfoliating acids, I would not start here, but follow the directions on here. It's very milky. Like the description really fits the product. I do still think that this is good for sensitive or even dry skin types. But if you are in that category, make sure you test spot first. The way I use this exfoliating acid is apply it on a cotton round, apply it to my face, neck, chest, any other areas you want to, and then apply my moisturizer [...] and I sleep like that. Wake up in the morning and the skin is hydrated, smooth, just perfect."

I feel like there's a misconception around this product that it's only meant for face, but I actually think people even have more success when they use it on their body. It does have 15% glycolic acid, which is not only a fairly high strength of glycolic acid, but glycolic acid is also the strongest of the alpha hydroxy acids, but it also has phytic acid and maleic acid and lactic acid and mandelic acid. Sort of these supporting more gentle alpha hydroxy acids. So, you get a very comprehensive exfoliating experience. Not only do these acids help break apart those dead surface, dead skin cells to make your skin smoother. They also draw water to the skin surface. They can act as hydrants. So, the skin is going to plump out and they can stimulate collagen. They can turn on your fibroblasts, your collagen producing cells. So, over time with consistent exfoliation, you're also going to have thicker, plumper, healthier skin. It's also a really big bottle, so you can be very generous with this product. And what I'll do is once a week when I am done with my shower, I will towel dry off and then I will shake up the bottle and then I will just shake a bunch into my hands and I will apply it neck down. I also pay special attention in applying it to my elbows and my knees and my feet because these are areas where dead skin tends to accumulate."
