"The Prequel Barrier Therapy Rich is a really good dupe. It's not quite as hydrating. I still think if I was going to say the Allies of Skin one is like 10 out of 10, I'd say the Prequel one is like 8.75 out of 10. It's really good, but it's $20. There's a huge price differential between these two. So I think it's really nice to have two super high performance moisturizers that kind of fit every budget."

"They're both fragrance-free. [...] The rich one is a little richer, a little heavier, may be less comfortable for you to wear on the face, especially if you live in a hot, humid climate. [...] Overall they leave the skin nice and moisturized. And the hydration lasts about 48 hours. [...] With ongoing use, it'll really help keep the barrier in check and keep the skin moisturized. I think these are fantastic. Prequel does a really good job."

"Because I have a dry skin type, I personally do like the rich cream a bit more, [...] and I've really enjoyed using this as a night cream. It's one of the best products I've tried, fragrance free, for the face and the body, 18 and 20 dollars for 10 fluid ounces, with 1% colloidal oatmeal. When I try to use it during the day under makeup it's not the most cosmetically elegant moisturizer I've ever tried, but I'm not expecting that at this price point."

"This is the rich version of the Prequel Barrier Therapy Skin Protectant Cream. Beautiful formula, rich in ceramides. When my skin was red, it did sting to apply this, I don't know why that happens sometimes, but I pressed through it and the stinging did stop. I did actually watch the redness in my skin reduce with using this, and today it's not stinging at all, which is such a good sign. It's made for face and body so you get a nice big size."
