    What the gurus are saying

Silky and nourishing without feeling heavy, this medicated lotion strikes the balance between comfort and effectiveness that people with itchy skin need. It combines promoxine hydrochloride (a non-steroid anti-itch active) with ceramides and soothing peptides, avoiding the skin-thinning risks of regular steroids. For those seeking immediate relief from bug bites, burns, or eczema flare-ups, this lotion serves as an effective first-aid option.

"It has promoxine hydrochloride, which is an anti-itch ingredient, but it's not a steroid. Steroids can really, if you use them too much, too long, they thin the skin out and really aren't great for skin on a regular basis. It also has ceramides and the simal ingredient, which is a great soothing peptide that's known to soothe skin. It alleviates itching associated with minor burns, cuts, sunburn, scrapes, and insect bites. That's exactly what I need."

"This lotion is a little more substantial than the urea moisturizing milk, but not as thick as the barrier therapy cream. On the skin, it feels silky and nourishing. It glides on effortlessly, absorbs well, and leaves a very natural finish. It's not shiny, not dewy, and certainly not sticky or tacky. When your skin is itchy, you want comfort but not heaviness and I feel like this lotion strikes that balance perfectly. If your skin is itchy or you have that uncomfortable awareness of your skin, this would be my go-to for immediate itch relief. I think of anti-itch solution almost like a first-aid lotion if you have bug bites, random itchy patches, or any flare-up that just needs calming now. I am so excited to have this clinically tested option for both my adult and pediatric eczema patients. The Anti-Itch Solution Medicated Calming Lotion is non-greasy, fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, allergy-tested, steroid-free, and suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive and eczema-prone skin. If itchy skin is something you deal with even occasionally, I truly think you will love this lotion. To me, this is exactly how medicated skin care should feel: effective, comforting, and thoughtfully made."
