1% Salicylic Acid Cleanser.

"This is one of my favorite examples of a modern dermatologist created product. I've used non-derm versions of this, and I still find them incredibly drying and stripping, really leaving your skin tight with that squeaky, clean, irritated skin. Instead, this formula is all about giving you the exfoliating benefits of salicylic acid without compromising your barrier. We have that 50% glycerin which is a huge amount in this cleanser and you can see that in that kind of gummy stringy thick texture of the cleanser. It's one of the most effective humectants we have in skin care keeping you hydrated making your skin feel soft and elasticated. Team that with the salicylic acid and everything's just kind of like balanced out perfectly. We have that 1% encapsulated salicylic acid which is clever because it's time-released. So yes, spend a minute or so gently massaging this into the skin to get those kind of like pore clearing, smoothing benefits with less irritation, especially if you have easily sensitized skin like myself. Zinc PCA in here as well to help regulate oil production whilst also hydrating, which is perfect for me with my combination skin that is prone to the occasional itchy breakout."

"This is the Prequel 1% Salicylic Acid Cleanser, so this is 1% salicylic acid and 50% glycerin and I've just been really loving the texture of it, it's really really nice. Look how it foams up, it just feels cool. I like to use a salicylic acid cleanser after the gym both on my face and on my body just because you get all that sweat, you want to get all that bacteria off of you that might be from the machines and all that stuff. Isn't this a nice cleanser and it doesn't dry your skin out? Salicylic acid by nature, because it's oil soluble, it breaks down oil which is why it's nice for people who are acne prone, but it can also make your skin kind of dry. This one because of the glycerin content does not dry your skin out and I'm into it. I like to massage my cleanser when it's a salicylic acid or any kind of treatment cleanser, especially in the areas where I get clogged pores."
