What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise the serum's texture, minimal scent, and efficacy when paired with professional treatments like microneedling or chemical peels. A little product goes a long way, and users report visible plumping and fine-line improvement. The major sticking point is the steep price ($255-267 for 0.5 oz), which leads most to use it sparingly on problem areas only. One reviewer noted inconclusive personal results; another flagged that more research is needed on exosome sourcing and efficacy claims.

"It's a simple serum. It's basically just like some hydrating ingredients, hyaluronic acid and stem cells. I would definitely totally feel comfortable using this if it was gifted to me. Would I go out and purchase it myself? Probably not."

"It works really nicely right under sunscreen or makeup. It's got a silicone in it so it gives it that nice sheen that looks like a good primer. In addition to the Exosomes it's got arginine and cilantro oil which is a great antioxidant. Really nice product."

Plated Skin Science Daily Anti-Aging Exosome Serum Review, How to Use, Dupes & Alternatives
"I've got the intense serum, which is about the same price. You get half as much. I use this around my eyes, in between my eyes and around my mouth where my wrinkles are the worst. The platelets are great. The plated intense serum has like 17 million or something like that. It's more concentrated and is more expensive, but you don't necessarily have to go right to it if you want. The exosomes are great for your skin."
New Skincare! The Ordinary ✨ NIOD ✨ Plated ✨ Clinique New Product First Impressions
"It has a nice gel texture. I've been focusing on applying it mostly in the areas where I get the most wrinkles, which is typically around my eyes and around my mouth. I'm glad that they add some soothing ingredients for it. I've been using this now since Friday and it seems like this is going to last longer than I thought. A little bit goes a long way with this, which is nice. It's definitely thick and contains the methone 4% and then the processed skin proteins is kind of their deal."
What's Plated's Renewosome™ Technology & Exosome's Benefits? Plated Skin Science Intense Serum
"For wrinkles and fine lines, it definitely has helped, especially around my eyes. I notice that the most. It helps with the fine lines and instantly kind of plumping skin near instantly upon application. I would put this on the same pedestal that I put the Skin Medicica TN TS advanced serum, which is absolutely amazing and wonderful. I do believe this probably would help with melasma. Previously used their calm serum which had the platelets and I did find that helped really heal and soothe my skin after a peel amazingly, and the calm serum did seem to help with the pigmentation and things like that. This is just kind of a whole new phase for anti-aging and you can use it with those other ingredients as a really way to fully work on anti-aging. For acne prone skin there's no ingredients of note. In terms of the price, it is expensive."
What's Plated's Renewosome™ Technology & Exosome's Benefits? Plated Skin Science Intense Serum

"It is expensive, but it's a really nice product and worth checking out. Out of a 10, I gave this a nine. This would be a 10 out of 10 if I could get it for free."
What Are the Newest & Best Anti-Aging Ingredients for Mature & Aging Skin? My Youthful Skin Faves
"This one is Plated Intense Serum, which they consider to be Plated's strongest exosome serum, containing over one trillion of human platelet extract. It's geared for advanced signs of aging but can be used on a daily basis. It's pricey, but I've noticed the one from the calm line really helped calm my skin down and help it with plumping, so I'm hoping I'll get the same benefit from this one."
I Ranked My Most Expensive Skincare… Here’s What’s Actually Worth It & How to Save on Luxe Products
"They use blood that's just expiring to remove their exosomes from it. So instead of using like plant-based PDRN type exosomes, they use actual human donor, which for my experience using it, I find it makes it a little bit more effective fighting fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains argan and celandriol, which is an antioxidant. So it's a very simple formula. It is expensive. The intense contains what did they say, I think 30 million exosomes. So the intense is a little bit stronger."
Predictions on Skincare & Beauty Trends 2026 - Anti-Aging Ingredients & New Technology for Wrinkles
"The Plated Intense Serum is very expensive, around 265 or 255 dollars for a half ounce. I've finished their calm serum and I'm about halfway through this one. I just use it only where I have wrinkles, so I don't waste it anywhere else. I just use it around my mouth and around my eyes, in between my eyebrows. Because I feel like it's so expensive, it's wasted. I will say the people that have used Plated absolutely love it. I've got a couple friends that use it and find it totally gamechanging and amazing."
Holy Grail Luxe Skincare Favorites - Luxury Pricey Products That Work for Anti-Aging & Rejuvenation
"Just a little bit of it helps with collagen production deep down in skin. And if you use it in conjunction with micro needle or laser, it's even better. So, very nice product. No scent, very short ingredient list. The Plated really does work well in conjunction with micro needling."

"This has human platelets in it so think PRP, they're using human platelets with the exosomes. It's a much smaller bottle, only 15 ml whereas the other one is 30 ml. The Plated one is a much better experience. It does not have a disgusting smell to it, it has some kind of a smell but it's not disgusting, and I find that it dries down nicer. You can use it morning or night. They're promoting that it helps with wrinkles and also helps with any kinds of dark spots or redness, so it seemed like they were promoting more of a product that helps with any kind of skin issue whether it comes to redness, dark spots, aging or wound healing. This is a much better experience that you're getting half of the product for about the same price. I've only been using it for about a week but my skin looks good."

Nighttime Skincare Routine for Perioral Dermatitis & Melasma
"This is like a little tiny travel size of the Plated Intense Serum. I got this from my esthetician Amy Peterson in Miami. I've just been using it because last time I went through an entire bottle of this and I wasn't sure if I saw any results. The claim is that you see results from these exosomes. That's what this is. It's a little pricey. You're supposed to see results from the exosomes when you use it right after some kind of a treatment. So I did the cosmetic peel a week ago, and it's supposed to help calm the redness and help heal your skin a little bit faster and you're supposed to get more results."

"Plated Intense Serum that's $267, so definitely not cheap and hard to tell from their website where the exosomes are derived from. I think more research needs to be done on their efficacy when it comes to skincare formulation and how we can more safely and ethically harvest exosomes."
