What the gurus are saying

The experts who reviewed Pixi found concerns worth noting. One dermatologist cautioned that the brand's products can actually worsen skin for some people. Another reviewer flagged heavy fragrance throughout most of the lineup and pricing that doesn't match the quality, though a blue-packaged line was noted as functional. The takeaway: those with fragrance sensitivity or reactive skin may want to patch-test carefully, if at all, and weigh the cost against alternatives.

"Pixi Beauty Los Angeles. I don't know. Too many products. And I just don't understand their lineup. Although, they did have a line of products with blue packaging that seem to work okay with a fragrance. But pretty much everything else in this lineup is overly scented. Too expensive. And you know what? My pocketbook is happy that I don't really like most of their stuff because their stuff is pretty expensive. A lot of their stuff is I just thought it was overrated. Most of their stuff and a lot of it scented."

"The brands such as drunk elephant, Pixi, nip and Fab or glow recipe can actually make your skin worse."
