What the gurus are saying

This serum's high dimethicone content makes it silky and fast-absorbing, but anyone with acne-prone skin may want to patch-test first, since the ingredient can feel occlusive for that skin type. Those with dry skin tend to love the nourishing texture and the peptide blend (argireline, matrixyl, and Peter Thomas Roth's trademark argu peptide) that gurus say helps soften expression lines and prolong the look of smoother skin. The main trade-off is price: dermatologists note it costs roughly double comparable peptide serums, though they praise the brand's formulation quality.

"The Peter Thomas Roth Skin Injection, I will say if you have acne prone skin, I would not recommend this because it does contain a high amount of dimethicone which for some people can be kind of skin suffocating. For me with my super dry skin, I actually don't mind it. I actually really like it. But in addition to the dimethicone, it's got a lot of good peptides in here: argireline, matrixyl, matrixyl synthesis, all this good stuff. So this is a really nice product."

"A little sample of the Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skin Injection. I enjoyed this little sample. It was a nice little sample. I would buy it."
New Skincare 🆕 The Ordinary, Byoma, Bubble, Cetaphil, & Peter Thomas Roth First Impressions Review
"This one's got thicker texture than I remember from the samples, but I really enjoyed the samples and I went through it pretty fast. It feels really silky and nice. There's no scent to it. It soaks in. It feels non-greasy and non-heavy. So, for the stars of the show, we've got 2% matrixel, 5% argalene, and 2% matrixel synthesis, and 10% argu peptide, which is their trademarked one."

"I absolutely love this. This is similar to the PTOX. It has a little bit of aduline in it. So, it will help prolong your Botox effects and help with some of the movement lines. I love it. Love it. Love it in the morning. This is the infusion cream. I do have their serum, too. I tend to prefer the cream. It just feels heavenly."

"Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skin Injection also has argireline in it and some other great skincare ingredients. You will apply this to the skin as part of your skincare routine. It's going to absorb into your skin and soften your muscular contraction and lessen how severely your wrinkles can be formed. You can use this morning or night in your routine. I love to use peptides, and I love to use this in the morning so I have my topical skincare product that is attacking the muscular movement."

"For double the price of the ordinary you can get this one by Peter Thomas Roth. This is called Skin Injection. This also has Matrix 3000 in it, it has acetyl hexapeptide 8. I do not believe it has copper in it. It's quite pricey. Peter Thomas Roth is such a great brand."
