This product is an absolute must for anyone who has really reactive or really sensitive skin. The ability it has to just remove all of the excess redness from my face and reduce the stinging and the irritation, it really is one of those formulas that just absolutely blows me away. I have not yet found another product that even compares to this formula for immediately being able to reduce my sensitivity and redness and calm down my skin as quickly as it does. "It does have cucumber in it that's a hydrating ingredient, but it also has some ingredients that I tend to shy away from because they can be irritating, namely fruit acids as well as citrus extracts which can be irritating to the skin. This product was not bad, it wasn't great, not something I would go out of my way to purchase again. The main annoyance of it is that you've got to wait 10 minutes, not the most time efficient thing out there. I didn't hate using this but would not go out of my way to repurchase it."

"It's a hydrating gel mask that you put on to clean skin, feels like aloe vera. You leave it on for 10 minutes and then you rinse it off. But when you're thinking of addressing the moisture barrier, I don't know, it kind of defeats the point to put something moisturizing on, use a short contact approach, and then rinse it off. This has some ingredients in it that I'm not too fond of in skincare like some fruity extracts, it has papaya, pineapple. I mean, probably trace extracts of those things if I'm being honest. It's not as though there's freshly squeezed pineapple in here with the enzymes that would be super irritating to the skin. Aloe is rich in humectants. You don't need very much. I've been using it actually daily for the past six days and it's as though I just opened it."

My skin feels pretty good actually, I don't know, it kind of just feels like it did when we started, but I don't have any irritation and it does feel kind of nice going on the skin. But is it the most magical thing? No. I mean, it feels actually similar to just putting like a gel moisturizer on, only now you're stuck sitting here for 10 minutes. I mean, who has time for that? You're stuck waiting 10 minutes and then you rinse it off, so it's just kind of like, I don't know, feels a little touch and go. Peter Thomas Roth does have some good products, but this is a pass."

"I'm still working on this Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask. This has been working really well for me. I do this painting technique with my finger to really apply it well, since there are a lot of sensory receptors in your finger pad and you can really feel where you are applying. When you document your face every day you've got that to look back on, and I came across an old video of myself and I have this little freckle here that I've had since I was a little kid, and I swear it's gotten lighter compared to those older photographs."
