"Our esthetician does a lot of the Perfect Dermapeel. It has several different ingredients in it, including a little bit of phenol at a very low concentration, so it acts almost as an anesthetic, which makes it a very comfortable peel, but it can still give you up to a week of peeling so it can still be very effective. It also has glutathione in it, so it's really good for those with hyperpigmentation, and it's been shown to be safe for lots of different skin types."

"While the treatment did make my skin feel smoother and look a lot brighter, did it heal my acne scars and large pores? I would say no unfortunately. The treatment is almost three hundred dollars, so if you're doing three or four peels that's three or four weeks total of downtime, and that is a lot for people. There's got a little too much downtime. But I do believe chemical peels are pretty good value for your buck. They're better value than laser treatments that can get you a similar result."
