What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this toner for its lightweight, watery texture that hydrates deeply without feeling sticky or gel-like, defying expectations around snail-based products. The snail secretion filtrate is lauded as effective for acne-prone skin due to its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Repeat sentiment centers on excellent hydration and plumping effects at a very affordable price point, with minor notes that it can feel slightly thicker on already-dry skin.

"Peach Slices snail rescue blemish busting toner, it's $13.99. It's a hydrating toner. It's got snail mucin. It's got hyaluronic acid. And it's got Centella in there for soothing and antioxidant benefits. And snail mucin is so hydrating for your skin. So if you haven't tried it and you've got drier skin, I would consider this more of their hydration line. I'm on my third bottle of it now."

"This toner uses 95% snail mucin. This is a mucin that is particularly good for calming inflammation. It's great for wound healing. It's very good if you have acne prone skin. It can take down redness. It can soothe irritated skin. It can help to heal the skin, really great overall while also containing all those great skin nutrients and components in the snail mucin that really help your complexion look very healthy. They also have a little touch of hyaluronic acid here, and Centella, which is really contributing to the blemish busting part of this toner. It's really good at reducing inflammation and redness, and it's also an antibacterial ingredient. So it's really great if you have acne prone skin. I just want to put a warning out there that if your skin dries just a little bit and then you put this on, it feels a little bit thick, so know that there's a little bit more thickness to this one. That being said, I think any skin type will enjoy it, especially if you have acne prone skin."

"This is an absolute Holy Grail and one of the best really really hydrating toners. I thought this was going to be a really thick textured toner just because there's snail in it, but it's actually a lot thinner and waterier than that so it actually acts like a toner really beautifully. It sinks deeply into the skin, really hydrates it, but because there's that snail element you get that plumping kind of action, that juicy goodness, and a little bit of balance too. It felt so refreshing in the heat of summertime. I've been on a real snail kick recently and it's really been helping my skin so much. I feel like this is such a gentle way to treat breakouts, or if you have congestion-prone or acne-prone skin, or inflammation-prone skin, snail is so great for treating all of that, reducing redness and swelling of pimples to facilitate healing."

"This surprised me because when I saw the name blemish busting toner I was expecting exfoliants, maybe some salicylic acid or PHA, and I was really surprised to see no exfoliants on the ingredients list. But I get what they mean by blemish busting because we have 95% snail secretion filtrate which is amazing for breakouts. It's really a trifecta because it is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound healing. Antibacterial helps to make sure that bacteria isn't spreading and making the acne spread on your face. Anti-inflammation helps to reduce the size of the pimple and really the look too, because if your pimple is really inflamed it's going to go really red, snail can really help to soothe and calm that down. And then the wound healing that snail encourages is amazing for acne-prone skin because if that pimple has popped or that skin has gotten damaged from that inflammation process, snail can really help to speed that healing up."

"This toner does not feel sticky or tacky, just feels really really nice and plumping on the hydration scale. I'm struggling between five out of five and 4.5 out of five, I'm so picky. It's a 4.5 out of five; we're so dang close to almost near perfection when it comes to hydration. This is so so so replenishing, so good. It's a really good value too. It retails for about fourteen dollars for 120 milliliter, though I bought mine for eleven dollars and it's often on sale. That's a really fair price for a toner, especially something like this with a high quantity of such a good main ingredient like snail secretion. This is an amazing toner with great price and great hydration, and it can really help if you do have acne-prone skin."

"The Peach Slices Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner has a really beautiful texture. It is a very fluidy type of toner with a little bit more body than other toners, but it's not gel-based, which surprised me given the snail secretion filtrate in the ingredients. I was really surprised to see it in this more fluidy format. It dives deep into the skin, really replenishes it, and that hint of body gives a little bit of that bouncy plumpness to the skin, which feels so good. The fact that this toner is available at my local Ulta at a very affordable price really impressed me. The affordability, accessibility, and fantastic formulation with a great star ingredient in snail make this something I'm very excited about."

"This toner really impressed me. I picked it up at my local Ulta, I think it was about 11 dollars. It's really affordable, and I want my toners to be on the more affordable side because I go through them pretty quickly. It's that really hydrating watery toner texture which I really crave. I love that right after washing my face to put something like this on. You wash your face and it can just start to feel a little bit dry, a little dehydrated, and that first layer skincare just feels so good. This is so watery and hydrating, it dives really deep into the skin. For having a high content of snail, you would think you'd have more of a gel or like a thicker consistency, but it's not. It's still really loose and watery with just a hint of body, just a hint of plumpness. A couple layers of this, your skin is feeling hydrated, plump, replenished. You're getting antioxidant care, you're getting antibacterial care, you're getting anti-inflammation care."
