What the gurus are saying

The gurus who reviewed it praise the gentle blend of acids paired with soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients, making it especially good for oily skin and pore congestion without being harsh. The 2% salicylic acid works to break up oil clogs in the pores, while the glycolic and lactic acids also exfoliate the surface to smooth texture and soften bumps. Those with irritated or acne-prone skin may want to start with it a few times a week to see how their skin responds, since even a gentler formulation can be drying if overused.

"The Peach Slices one with the different blends of acids and lower concentrations along with other soothing ingredients potentially is a more gentle formulation. If you struggle with pores or post-acne marks, it would be very helpful in improving those concerns."

"One of my favorite exfoliants for oily skin is the Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner. You don't have to have acne to benefit from this toner, but I think they call it an acne toner because it has 2% salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that's good at delving into the pores and breaking up those clogs within them because salicylic acid is much better than alpha hydroxy acids at removing oils from the skin. I find that oily-skinned individuals tend to lean into salicylic acid products because it helps with their oil control. There are tons of different 2% salicylic acid toners out there on the market, but I just think this overall formulation is really lovely. It also has a little bit of glycolic acid and lactic acid in there as well, so you're not just getting that removal of oil from the skin but it also does still help remove that outer dead skin cell layer as well so you can really glow. This also has some nice soothing, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial ingredients so that if you do struggle with acne or your skin is more irritated, maybe from some acne products that you're using, this toner is not going to overdo it."

"This Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner is another great liquid salicylic acid and lactic acid product. It also has lactic acid which can soften and smooth the skin surface reducing certain types of skin bumps."
