What the gurus are saying

Gurus overwhelmingly praise this serum for its clean ingredient list, hydrating formula, and ability to work as a gentle buffer between active products. Fans consistently highlight the smooth, glass-like finish and repurchase it frequently. A minority find the texture too tacky during application and the finish too matte rather than luminous, viewing it as a polarizing product that doesn't deliver the dramatic glossy results the name suggests.

"This is a wonderful product from Peach and Lily. It's got a really wonderful gel serum texture. It kind of sets to a slightly radiant finish, but not terribly shiny compared to some of the other ones, but it does soak in. It's a water-based serum. In here we've got lots of goodies. Yam root extract, which is also called phytoin. Really wonderful ingredient. It's great for hydrating skin, soothing skin, and perhaps even anti-aging benefits. We've got matteside, which is derived from Santella, which may have collagen and elastin production properties deep down in skin. We've even got some peptides and betaglucan in here. So this is kind of a powerhouse product. It's got a little bit of everything. It works for everything. Soothing, anti-aging, hydrating, protecting skin. It's got it all going on. And it does that all while being unscented, which I love. Makes it wonderful for most routines. I've repurchased this a lot of times."

"I've repurchased this what six, seven times now. The Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum is really nice. It's a nice fragrance-free gel texture serum with some nice anti-aging and brightening and hydrating ingredients, yet still being a nice product. In terms of simplicity, it's really wonderful. It's a really nice kind of neutralizing serum, so if you want to use like peptides in the same routine as maybe like an exfoliant or something, this is a really nice neutralizing product to use in between them."

"The texture is very similar to the Purito Super Light, absorbs quickly, non-greasy. It's in a glass bottle now, which is good for recycling. It's more of a niacinamide type serum with simple ingredients. It's still good and works well for a lot of people. I just want something with a little bit more antioxidants and maybe more anti-aging benefits. I still use it from time to time."

"It does take a long time to dry down and while it is in that kind of semi-wet state it's quite tacky. Once it is dry it does dry matte. I thought that a glass skin serum was going to give me really shiny skin, but it doesn't actually have like a high gloss finish to it. The texture is kind of a meh for me, but also the results of this are a meh for me as well. I understand why people may like this, but I also see why people don't like this. This can be a really you either love it or hate it type of product. On the whole I don't find it super impressive."

"I've also been using the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum. This is another serum that has lots of different types of hyaluronic acid including an acetylated one. It also has niacinamide and a bunch of centella ingredients. It is just a really gentle product. The founder of Peach and Lily has really sensitive skin so this was just to me a really safe product to throw into my routine. I'll usually use this on nights when my skin is irritated but I want something soothing and hydrating and more active."

"The Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum does such a good job at smoothing over the skin making it truly have that glasslike appearance. As opposed to the B.E. Hydra serum from Drunk Elephant which has a good ingredient list but is really only focused on hydration, the Peach and Lily serum has great hydrating ingredients, it has mass aside which is great for reducing sensitivity, niacinamide, peptides, like it just has so many different types of good ingredients all loaded into one formula. It's $39, definitely one of the more expensive products that I recommend on my channel but definitely well worth the price."
