"It works fine, I mean as expected. There's a lot of residue though. [...] It feels more greasy than like leaving the skin hydrated, so I wouldn't say it's my favorite cleansing balm. [...] From an ingredient standpoint it works well, but it separates a little bit. [...] If you just bought a bottle off the shelf you may want to shake it up a little bit just to kind of re-emulsify the oil with the rest of the balm."

"The Omega Plus Complex Cleansing Balm from Paula's Choice is just a non-nonsense effective pleasurable to use in my opinion fragrance-free cleansing balm to help melt away cosmetic residue and water-resistant sunscreen. It's a great option easy to tolerate around the eyes for eye makeup removal. You spread it on the skin surface, massage it in, and then with just a little bit of water it will emulsify and rinse off the skin surface, and then you can wash your face as normal. It's not super sexy or anything, it doesn't have any exotic ingredients, but it gets the job done and it's a great formula."

"I tried out their new Omega Cleansing Balm and loved it. Like the Inky List one, they're actually very similar in my experience as far as the outcomes of cleansing. It's very gentle, spreads on the surface of the skin smoothly. The [Paula's Choice] one does not do that separation thing. It doesn't have the oat oil in it; instead it has jojoba seed oil. It has a very short ingredient list and emulsifies easily. It just really does a good job. It's nice to spread on the surface of the skin and it's not like one of those sticky hard cleansing balms that you have to really rub in. It rinses off and gets off cosmetic residue and sunscreen very well. It is more expensive than the Inky List one, but the main difference is it doesn't have that kind of odor."

"I was really impressed with this. It did a good job melting off my water-resistant sunscreen and mascara and then rinsing off in the shower with a little bit of gentle cleanser. I even used this a few times without a gentle cleanser just to see how it performed and it did really well. Paula's Choice products tend to be on the pricier side though, so I suggest instead the Inky List oat cleansing balm, which is very similar, although people comment that it has an odd odor. This one does not have an odd odor. The Inky List one also separates out according to complaints, but I didn't find that to be the case with this product. Anyway, I love this product and they did a really good job with it."

"This is a great cleansing balm if you are a fan of double cleansing, which I personally love. I love this balm for a couple reasons: number one, it's got great ingredients, Omega 3, 6, and 9, as well as jojoba oil and other plant-based ingredients to help nourish the skin. And with the texture and formulation, it is wonderful and gentle but yet effectively able to dissolve the waterproof makeup that I wear on a regular basis, as well as the layers of sunscreen and water-resistant sunscreen that I often reapply on my skin throughout the day. Now, this is pretty rich and creamy, and I do find that it tends to leave a little bit of residue. So with that said, I don't think it's great if you're looking for a one-stop shop cleanser to use, if you only want to pick one cleanser, there are certainly other cleansing balms I find that leave minimal residue that can be used alone. But this one, because it leaves a little bit more residue, it's great for double cleansing. So the first step of double cleansing, you definitely want to follow up with a water-based cleanser afterwards. But in general, I think it's great for removing makeup, first step of double cleansing, and for those with more dry skin."
