What the gurus are saying

The gurus split on this one. One expert found it delivers a smooth, finely milled finish with just enough luminosity to avoid a dry, chalky look, making it a gentle alternative to heavier setting powders for those wanting light coverage under the eyes. However, another reviewer preferred a competing powder and felt the price tag doesn't match the performance, suggesting the cost may be steep for what it does.

"I've used this blurring under eye powder and again I don't rate it. I like the Kosas powder under my eyes to give like a smoother finish. I don't rate it and it's quite an expensive brand. Pat McGrath Labs, you need to bring your prices down because it's not all that worth it."

"I also wanted to recommend a really beautiful powder for under the eyes, this one's actually from Pat McGrath. It's their Blurring Under Eye Powder. I like mine in the shade pink. It's a baked powder and it has a little bit of luminosity to it, so if you're not wanting like a drying look under the eyes, this is a very finely milled under eye powder that looks fabulous. This is a really nice one if you're wanting a little bit of powder but you don't want to go in with a full-on setting powder."
