What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this serum for its soothing and reparative effect on irritated, red, and peeling skin. The texture sits between serum and gel cream (lightweight on skin but with enough substance to feel nourishing) and works well under moisturizer or as an overnight treatment. The formula's combination of calming botanicals and honey is consistently highlighted as effective, though reviewers note slight tackiness that disappears with layering.

"We have 729,707 PPM of Centella Asiatica to help calm irritation, reduce redness and support skin repair as well. We also have Manuka Honey Extract and Honey Extract to help hydrate. We have Ceramides in here as well alongside Melatonin, which is basically antioxidant. And then Coptis Japonica and Artemisia Vulgaris oil to calm the skin. When my skin was at its most peely and red and irritated, this really did help calm and repair. I think they describe it as a lightweight serum and it kind of is, but it's got a thickness to it that makes it more feel like a gel cream. But again, it's not thick on the skin. A little bit sticky, but you can't feel that through a moisturizer. I really like it. I personally don't see why it wouldn't work for you, but yeah, I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it."

"The Cicamanu 92 Serum has this really unique texture. It's like serum-esque, but it's a little bit thicker. It's perfect for those nights where you need overnight repair to the skin. Rejuvenate the skin. It's soothing, it's nourishing, it's got that Manuka honey in, it's eco friendly and it's proven to be effective on the skin as well. It's been clinically tested and it's shown notable improvements in the skin's redness and hydration as well. And the serum itself as well is actually packaged in a really sustainable way, making it both skin and planet friendly. You can apply it in the morning for the daytime for a stronger, more moisturizing effect. Or at night you can almost like mask it. If you soak some cotton pads in it, you can use it as like a soothing pack for the face and then just tap any excess in. If you have a rough skin texture, if you have skin that is prone to redness or your skin gets irritated really quickly, perhaps your skin's a little bit sensitive and you need soothing, this is a great, great serum to use."
