It is however so potent that I can only use it in a wash-off form at the 4% level, this is from PanOxyl. I recommend this over the CeraVe because this has a little bit of a thicker texture, which just makes it easier to work with. I apply this to dry skin, let it sit for a bit, and then wash it off, because if you apply benzoyl peroxide to wet skin it might absorb more quickly and cause a reaction."
