Gurus found it genuinely hydrating: one woke in a dry hotel room with beautifully plump, moisturized skin instead of parched; another swapped out CeraVe for this as her morning lotion. Affordable and unscented. The lotion version skips niacinamide, though that's no problem if you have that ingredient elsewhere in your routine.

"It seems like everything's gone except for the face cream at this point, and it's kind of a bummer because I really liked it. I loved the ingredients in here, really nice ingredients, no scent to it, and still really affordable. So it's kind of a bummer. Maybe Pacifica will come up with something else in the future, I don't know. But anyway, it was really lovely. I love the whole lineup, really nice products."

"I really do love both of these, but I was disappointed that this one doesn't contain niacinamide. What it does have is ceramides and lipids, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin, so it's a really good day lotion, and that's what I've been using. That's fine for me because I do have niacinamide in my night cream. Niacinamide is in everything these days, and you don't really need that much of it."

"I love this. It contains three ceramides plus the ingredients that ceramides need to work. It also has hyaluronic acid, shea butter, cocoa butter, like all the butters. It's super, super hydrating, and it's a really great cream, and I love it. Sleeping in a hotel room, you usually wake up in the morning and your skin is parched because of those heating and cooling units they have. I woke up, remember touching my face, and thought, oh wow, my skin feels so good. It feels so moisturized."

"I like this one. It's thicker and a little more matte when it dries down. It's got all the same ingredients as the cream version. It is definitely a drugstore price point, so I love this one."

"The next thing I wanted to share is another drugstore moisturizer. This is the lotion version of the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide cream that I love so much. It's like a more moisturizing version of that. I love the cream, but it's matte and I feel like it's drier. This is definitely more hydrating. I've been using this in the morning instead of the CeraVe, and I like this a lot."

"There's a sister product to [...] the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Cream, which is their Vegan Ceramide Barrier Lotion. This is a more hydrating version. The ingredients in here just look so much more hydrating with more oils and butters in it. It's like a nice lightweight looking white lotion. This one is probably more for people with combo to oily skin."
