What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise the OS1 peptide's mechanism for targeting damaged cells and stimulating collagen production, backed by clinical research from the founder PhDs. The recurring strength is its versatility as both a face and body moisturizer that layers well with active ingredients. The main hesitation is the premium price point, though experts view it as justified by the evidence supporting the peptide's efficacy.

"This is One Skin, which is an OS1 peptide. I did a whole show on peptides and how they're kind of like the text messengers of our body. They tell us what to do. This OS1 peptide really kind of helps to eliminate senescent cells, which are those zombie cells that create oxidative stress. So it helps to, it's not like it exfoliates, but it helps to rid your skin of those damaged cells, which then continues to damage the skin cells around it. So it's great in protecting that skin barrier, and it's great on top of an already active ingredient. I would argue that this is an active ingredient. It's a great way to spread out that product of a retinoid."

"One Skin has great peptides that they were able to show me data, the evidence behind it that they work really well in the skin. Peptide moisturizers are great to add on to your routine, especially after a retinoid to help decrease irritation, but also boost your collagen, especially in your 30s as we start to lose collagen pretty fast. These cell signalers will tell your skin make more collagen."

Dermatologist Explains: How to Treat Neck Wrinkles and Tech Lines
"I like products with peptides. One Skin has a proprietary OS1 peptide that helps clear out the old cells that don't regenerate and it helps reverse biological age. It's a little bit more pricey, but I like that there's evidence behind this. One Skin was founded by PhDs and they do have papers that support their peptide that pretty much tell your skin cells to make more collagen, which is great, and it clears out the bad, the old cells."
Skincare Secrets to Manage Crepey Skin from a Dermatologist
"One Skin being a nice one with the OS1 peptide that has been shown to clear out the old non-regenerating cells out and helps stimulate collagen production. Those peptides will be a cell signal to tell your skin to make more collagen which is excellent. You can use that as a body moisturizer and you can use that over say your hyaluronic acid and that will help temporarily occlude the skin whereas your peptide moisturizers will hopefully give you long-term benefits right like retinol or vitamin C."
