Studies have shown that Marine collagen supplements can increase the growth of terminal and vellus hairs, so thick hairs and the baby hairs. It can also increase the diameter of terminal and vellus hairs as well as decrease hair loss. It also has Apple polyphenols as well as ashwagandha, shatavari, saw palmetto, cumin, and a whole host of different vitamins and minerals including A, C, D and E, B vitamins including biotin, iodine, selenium, and zinc. You have to take four pills a day."

I like Nutrafol for people who are also dealing with stress-related hair loss cuz they have ingredients to support that as well. "Nutrafol is definitely one you've seen more for, but because of the inclusion of an ingredient called saw palmetto in their Syneren complex, this is generally thought to be unsafe during both pregnancy and breastfeeding. The risk in pregnancy is much stronger because it inhibits DHT and that would inhibit hormones and fetal development. Breastfeeding, the risk of absorption and passing on is probably a lot less, but it's still probably something you should avoid. Nutrafol does have more studies in general, but because of the ingredient profile, it comes out as less ideal in the postpartum period."
