"This is the bio retinol. When companies put some kind of prefix on the word retinol they usually mean it's a retinol alternative, but this actually does contain retinol, it also has ten percent niacinamide, salicylic acid, and copper tripeptide, which is why it's blue. I had a very difficult time adjusting to it at first, I was even layering other actives on top of it before I realized it actually contained retinol, but my skin eventually did get used to it. The texture is surprisingly watery."

"Otherwise, very nice and liquidy, but it doesn't pack a whole punch for retinol because the retinol is pretty far down. But it's got other good strong antioxidants in here, which might make it good for sensitive skin or skin that hasn't used retinol before. It's got ginseng in there as well, which is nice. And Centella, all those goodies. [...] I'm really bummed by the nozzle on this one, though. That's kind of the biggest bummer. It smells like squash or zucchini or something like that."
