What the gurus are saying

Gurus are unanimously enthusiastic about this toner, praising its hydrating and plumping effects across multiple applications. The consistency receives mixed but positive framing: some find it watery and lightweight, others describe it as surprisingly thick yet non-heavy. A recurring strength is the breadth of ingredients, especially the 50+ peptides and brightening compounds like tranexamic acid and vitamin B12. One concern flagged is the presence of alcohol, though testers note it doesn't feel drying. Gurus see it as a hydrating base layer rather than a hard-hitting treatment, best suited for maintaining skin during mild weather or as part of a layered routine.

"This is the Numbuzin No. 9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Toner. Long name toner. I love this one. It's really watery, lightweight. It really plumps up my skin. I use about two layers of this to achieve some nice hydration. There's also, as the name suggests, NAD+ PDRN, lots and lots of peptides, but I just really like this as a plumping, hydrating base for the rest of my skincare products."

Empty Skincare and What I Replaced Them With! | Spring 2026
"I think this is my second bottle of the toner. This toner is so amazing because it is very watery, it's lightweight, it's quickly absorbed on the skin, and it's very deeply hydrating. It feels like it does my skin well. It is really quickly absorbed to the skin, really easy to layer. I do two layers of this and my skin feels really good prepped, a little bit plump and ready to go. There's a whole host of interesting ingredients in here that are particularly good for skin health and just boosting skin's performance. In a toner format when they're a little bit more watered down, they're not going to be as hard-hitting as a serum or an ampoule targeted treatment type of product, but they're boosting. For the rest of the year it will do the trick until we hit winter again, when my skin is in good shape and moving into the early spring when my skin is going to lean a little bit more oily."

"This one's great for brightening skin. It's fragrance free. It's alcohol free. It does have a little bit of a thicker texture to it. So to me it feels more like a lotion than a toner, but it contains the sim white antioxidant which is just an antioxidant known for brightening skin up. It's got tranexamic acid, another brightening ingredient. Alpha lipoic acid, brightening ingredient. Aloe glucosamine, brightening ingredient. We've got vitamin B12, which is a great soothing and hydrating ingredient. We've got ectoine, which is great for everything. Soothing, protecting, regenerating skin, brightening skin, hydrating skin. It does everything literally. And then last but not least, we got a scalable glucoside and licorice root."

numbuzin New! 🆕 No.9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Toner Review, How to Use, Ingredients
"My skin has a nice glow after I use it. It's very unique. I cannot find any close dupes or alternatives at all to this one. If you want something with NAD plus, resveratrol, and 50 peptides, this is it. I love the inclusion of 50 peptides even in small amounts. I'm a big fan of exposing your skin to as much of these ingredients that are beneficial. Unless you have very reactive skin, definitely do a patch test with the TBU alcohol. But overall, great product and I gave it a 9 out of 10. It's really wonderful. Definitely will finish it and certainly will repurchase it."

Best K-Beauty Anti-Aging Skincare Products - Favorites From Korea That Turn Back Time!
"I love this lineup from Numbuzin. Their number nine NAD+ PDRN boosting products. This is their toner. They're wonderful. They contain over 50 different peptides in small amounts. I just noticed my skin looks so plump after I use it. This morning for my routine, I cleansed, applied this as a toner, applied the essence as a serum, sunscreen, foundation, and my skin feels really nice right now and hydrated. I think this will be a real winner on really cold winter nights because your skin, after you applied it, instantly it looks plumped up and feels better, smoother, all that good stuff."
New numbuzin - No.9 NAD+ PDRN Glow Boosting Toner First Impressions Review
"I just love it so much. It's just such a great combination of ingredients. I was a little surprised or taken aback when I saw the alcohol in the toner, but I probably would have still bought it anyway. It feels really nice though and it's not drying. It has no real scent to it which makes it a winner. It's actually pretty hydrating. I would say it feels pretty nice on your skin. It's got 50 different peptides, NAD plus PDRN plus 50 different peptides. In here we've got turmeric, we've got resveratrol, and then we've got a lot of different peptides. Most noticeably argalene is in there, adenosine is a great peptide, and I think copper peptide is in here."

"This layer of toner feels like three. It's incredibly thick in a light way, and it feels like it's wrapping your skin in this hydration barrier. It's so so nice. I have emptied this time and time again. I love it so much."

Are These Viral K-Beauty Products Really Worth The Hype?!
"I've definitely noticed a difference in my hydration levels with this. I like the addition of the NAD. I like the Peptides, I like the PDRN. It's kind of one of those well aging toners that I think I get more benefits from than just hydration. Kind of like an essence, really, in that sense."
