"Panthenol has a soothing anti-inflammatory benefit to it and it's also a barrier supportive ingredient. This has a really nice pleasing gel texture, kind of rides the line between a light gel and a medium gel. I've actually been really impressed with how this texture performs on the skin because the absorbency of this is really, really good. It's not the main goal of the serum to hydrate your skin; the main goal is to brighten your skin, and I'm very impressed with it. The way that it absorbs, it just absorbs so quickly into the skin and it feels very light once it is absorbed. It feels very breathable and there's no greasiness, there's no stickiness, there's no shine on top of your skin. Using this, I've noticed results for hyperpigmentation. I have some dark spots that were left over from when I got pimples that got inflamed and swollen on my skin, and absolutely worked for that. For dullness, absolutely worked for that. I think it actually helped a little bit with enlarged pores."

This helped with that, which was not something I was expecting or something I think it even promised anything with pores. So overall a lot of that was addressed with this."

"I did see benefits with this. It really seemed to help with pores, which was not something I was expecting nor is it even something I think this promised anything with. As far as sun damage, I'm on the last leg of the most stubborn freckles and I haven't really seen too much of a change there. I don't think I've personally used this product long enough and I honestly would have to probably get to the end of this bottle before I could even give you an idea of what I think has occurred in that area. It is potent and it is a little aggressive quite honestly. If you have very very sensitive skin, this is a serious product with serious brightening ingredients in it at a serious concentration, so please proceed with caution, especially if you have had sensitivities to ascorbic acid in the past. If arbutin has been an ingredient that's a little stimulating for your sensitive skin, proceed with caution."

"It has a viscous gel water texture to it and a little bit of it goes a long way. It's not super liquidy like some vitamin C serums are, where you feel like it's dripping into your eyeballs. This texture is really nice, not too thick, but a little bit of it still goes a long way. I would say half a dropper ball is enough to cover your face and neck, and it feels really nice. It sets to a natural finish and does take like a minute to soak in. Once it soaks in, it sets to a natural finish and it's just a little bit slightly tacky but not noticeably so to the point where it makes it uncomfortable. It works great under sunscreen and moisturizer too."

A lot of vitamin C serums don't feel super calming or hydrating on your skin. They give you a glow, they help with hyperpigmentation, but they don't feel super great on your skin. I do believe this helps brighten my skin a bit. My skin enjoys this one. It's a gentle vitamin C serum with several different types of vitamin C, so it's super friendly for all skin types, including acne-prone skin. For antioxidants, we've got lingan berry extract, which is the first ingredient. It's an extract that's rich in antioxidants and it has significant skin calming properties and is a good source of the beneficial mineral manganese. Then we've got alpha arbutin, which is a good antioxidant, also brightening turmeric."

"It really soaked in and it feels really nice on my skin. For the price, this is the full size 1 oz 30 mL and retails for about $23 depending on where you pick it up, so it's a pretty good deal. A little bit of it goes a pretty long way and lasts you a while. I've really enjoyed this serum. After a few days I combined it with some of my regular serums and they seemed to complement each other nicely. I enjoy the fact that this formula is pretty friendly for most skin types: dry, oily, combo, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I really think it'll be a winner for the majority of people, with the exception of those with the most sensitive skin because of the number of ingredients.
