"The added fragrance, which is geraniol and citronellol, I don't enjoy. My skin doesn't like it. It's very old fashioned, and the smell kind of lingers. This was so hydrating, it was so brightening, it was so soothing in some ways as well, but I'll be honest, I dreaded using this. Absolutely dreaded it, because that smell just lingers. If I use it in the evening I would get a headache, it's such a strong smell. It's unfortunate. I just wonder if there's something else they can use to kind of mask all that smell. If you don't mind fragrance, if you don't mind that very old fashioned, almost floral, aromatherapy kind of oil smell, you could probably really enjoy this if your skin doesn't mind it. But for me, I just can't get over the smell, so this is gonna be used on my body instead."

"Nice and heavy, I love the look of this. The packaging actually makes you feel like it's going to soften your skin. I love that kind of translucent glow, nice and gloopy, relaxing and hydrating, and it just feels very nice on the skin. What they've put in is very interesting actually. They've put in bifida lysate at 42 percent, I love this ingredient. They've also put in galactomyces ferment at 21 percent, which I love as well."

"So on top there's a little bit of moisture and almost a kiss of richness that feels a little slippery, almost like an oil, which I wasn't expecting because there's no oil content here, but it does have a little bit of an oil slip as it absorbs into the skin, and it does leave a little bit of a shine on top of the skin. Just to be completely upfront with you, if you caught my recent nope video where I talked about products that didn't work for me, this was one of them, so I don't have fond feelings for this. I do have sensitive skin, I am sensitive to the essential oils and the fragrant compounds present within this formula, they do make me itchy, and this product is no exception, it made me itchy. The essential oil that they use here is rose geranium oil, and that's really the forward scent that you're getting, it's a very floral rose based type of smell, but it's just not really for me, I don't really particularly enjoy it, it doesn't feel very sophisticated or interesting to me at all quite honestly. It's not really the shininess that this toner is leaving on top of your skin that's giving you the glow, it's the contribution."
